Am I the only one who's using Nightwatch Prime as their Nemesis Prime?

I think it works real well since he's got the darker color and yellow eyes of the animation model.

But Nemesis Prime didn't seem to be able to retract his mouthplate. D:

If they were the same color, you could just do a headswap, but I think Nightwatch Prime's head is a darker blue.

Just picked up Flamewar, and I honestly think she's better than Arcee. The colors pop.
Also, I like the fix they did with the new BB. Instead of the floppy chest transformation, it locks rather nicely.

I agree with both of these statements. Doesn't Hyperspeed Wheeljack appear to have a darker shade of gray on his head than on his face plate?

Honestly, any colors on Hyperspeed Wheeljack will be an improvement. He's just so drab in robot mode. The normal version, that is.

Wheeljack looks ok I like the version with the Starhammer better. The Flamewar looks awesome though. I really dig that repaint.

Sorry, I didn't read through the whole thread, but does anyone else's Ultra Magnus have really loose joints? Loose as in he can't hold up his arms even without the hammer?

They all seem to be like that, unfortunately. I've been meaning to put some floor polish on mine, but I haven't gotten around to it.

Nail polish should do the trick.

Haha yeah thats the pic! Kudos to you sir for your fine idea! What thread was that originally posted in? I couldn't find it anywhere!

My Magnus had loose shoulders, I opened the package fiddled with it to ascertain the looseness then immediately tightened the shoulder joints with super glue. Now he moonlights as Arcees pimp.

I posted it in the Cool Stuff thread, I think. But at the pace that thing moves, no wonder you couldn't find it.

Mine is a floppy mess. Not only the ball joints on his shoulders but translucent parts that form the chest. Nail polish somewhat helped with the shoulders.

Finally! Landed Ironhide, Magnus, and Dreadwing from Walmart today. No sign of the new wave Legions, but I'm very happy to see these fellows.

    Capsules:
Ironhide has a great blend of movie and G1 to him, and I really like the extra bits of articulation in the feet. No problems with the cannons so far, but I'm being extra-careful based on what I've read here. Only issues with mine are the vehicle roof doesn't want to stay closed, and the legs/truck bed don't seem to lock in at all in vehicle mode. The instructions aren't very helpful - have I missed something?

Magnus looks great despite the simple transformation. The vehicle similarity to RiD/Car Robots Magnus is great, and the Animated hammer is the best Cyberverse melee weapon yet. Unfortunately, my figure also has the loose-as-hell shoulders; nothing I can't fix, but I was hoping for the QC lottery to score.

Dreadwing is the winner here, pure awesome even if I am being overcautious with his sword. Enough articulation for good sword poses, transformation complexity in between the other two figures here, very sleek jet mode...and the perfect gerwalk mode sold me.

All in all, very pleased with this set of figures.

Lessee...repaint thoughts. I know we're already getting Skyquake out of Dreadwing, but change some factions around:
Magnus - new head without the antennas or crest, new double-barreled rifle weapon. Deco turns blue to olive-drab, red paint becomes black, head painted black with yellow eyes. Transparent plastic turns to a smoky gray. Et voila, Onslaught with a side of Car Robots Mega-Octane.

Ironhide - got it. Red becomes light gray, paint the non-windshield frame part of the chest and the abdomen yellow. No changes to silver detailing or transparent blue. Not sure what weapons would suit Greasepit though.

Dreadwing - I've seen a pretty neat Jetfire custom over in Radicons, but lets go a slightly different track. Blue plastic becomes white, gray plastic becomes red, transparent yellow becomes transparent blue. Silver and yellow paint become red, except the face which is silver with blue eyes. Give him Nightwatch Prime's swords in matching blue (and probably altered to fit the hands). Somewhat literal take on Starsaber.

so scale issues aside, how is legion breakdown as a figure? i'm considering picking up him or fallback for the weapon, but i wanna know how the figure itself is too.
