Hmm, Cyberverse you say? I've picked up CL Cliffjumper, Arcee and Vehicon, all very neat with the weakest probably Vehicon.

Of the Commanders I have Optimus Prime, Starscream and Bulkhead, and really these guys are where its at.

Optimus Prime is amazing to get what they have into a figure so small, the only real compromise is a couple of holes in the side of the truck mode, but apart from that he's awesome. I thought he was markedly shorter than the previous DoTM CC Prime, but standing right next to each other they are actually the same size. He gets two clear blue guns, that look like versions of the FE Voyage Primes gun.

Starscream is alright, his overall he's pretty good but both modes eel a little compromised. The worst bit of his jet mode is his feet sort of stick out a bit and in bot mode his hands are kinda crap. Essentially his weapons can be arm mounted or held like swords, but his hands (being crammed into the jet front halves) are kinda crippled. Having said that I still fiddle with him a lot. His weapons are weird stabby sword thingeys with missiles running along them.

Bulkhead is probably the best of the Commanders I have. He looks incredibly chunk, but actually weighs every light, basically his parts are all quite hollow (similar in feel to the SWTF class one Obi Wan starfighters) but his transformation is chunkily complex, and both modes rock. The only compromise is he has a a bit of under car kibble, so even though he's supposed to be an off road vehicle, there's not much ground clearance. His weapon is kinda poop though, a small club that fits over his fist.

The thing I love about the weapons as a whole is their interconnectivity, clipping them all together into a big multicoloured mess is fun.

Cliffjumper is awesome, Arcee is cool in concept, but could have used more time in development.

The rest a boring.

Went back today and picked up Ratchet and Bumblebee (still can't find an Arcee). Ratchet is pretty cool - nice paint in robot mode, decent articulation, kinda plain vehicle mode. Bumblebee is easily the worst of the four I have - he has good shoulders and hips but no knee articulation and all the paint went into the chest, face, and stripes, leaving large parts of him bare yellow. I think I'm going to try to spruce him up a bit with some Sharpies, especially on the back end of the car - even just some tail lights and a rear window would help a lot.

Picked up the Legion figures a few days ago. Only thing I don't like about them is that some of the figures' weapons aren't original - Arcee has Bumblebee's blaster, and Cliffjumper has Ratchet's blade. But hey, I guess I should just be thankful that these Legion/Legends figures come with weapons in the first place, as I believe it's a new "thing" for the size class. Can't wait to find some Commanders!

Ratchet finally came in today. Damn cool looking figure. Articulation isn't that bad either (although not as BW balljoint awesomeness like Cliffjumper).

He's probably not worth the $15 I paid for him though, lol.

Noticed they worked in a spot to peg CJ's weapon on his back in bot mode. They put in a little notch on the black plastic of his hips. Then you can pressure fit the weapon btween the notch and the two plastic red reinforcement molding.

And another cool discovery, Cyberverse figures can hold/use the weapons from Marvel and Halo minifigs! I plan on grabbing some Halo stuff to add weapon caches for my Cyberverse.

I thought some pics might help:

Here's where you peg in the weapon:

I saw a Legion Bubles and Cliffy on the shelves today when I stopped at my Target to pick up my figures from the back of the store, but didn't have enough to pick them up today. Once I receive some money this Friday from a few sales however, this weekend is gonna be a hunt for Legion and Commander figs.
My feedback
