I remember it well, they took their time, but they did get there in the end with those three :)

I just got Heero's Ultra Magnus and while it's mostly great, I'm wondering if I'm missing a step in the transformation.
In combined bot mode the only way I can see to attach the cab is the bracket that the front fender rests in.
On my copy it just lightly dangles there and any handling of the figure will cause it to come unseated and fall out.
This may just be how it is but I've missed small obvious steps before so I thought I'd check with the experts.

Great figure regardless - really excellent quality. I'm glad I finally got one.
Now I'm eyeing the diaclone version. :3

Unfortunately that's how it works, I don't remember mine being quite that loose, though they weren't exactly that solidly in .

Why stop at just the diaclone version? ;)

    NO. Stop it. :lol

Thanks for the info. I'm totally fine with it being as loose as it is considering the small size and hand-made nature of it. It's not like it will get a lot of handling anyway, although it is fun to mess with. Weirdly I can appreciate UM far more in this tiny scale than I ever could the G1 toy, which I was never that fond of.

    Ultra Magnus - TinyTFs.com ;)

But yeah, I never fancied the original G1 Magnus, but I appreciate the engineering more at this size :)

There has not been a lot of recent activity in this thread so with a view to "sparking" some interest, i took a pic of most of my wst (and a few of my kabaya kits) with titan metroplex on my well earned day off. I just love the way these little guys scale with the big fella!

Now that's a good reason to get Titan Metroplex, can't justify him though :)

So I started collecting this line (also collect masterpiece) and I love it. I bought titan metroplex just to put the lil guys on him for display. I have to say I am quite impressed with heero toys, but justitoys seems to be a hit or miss. I got shockwave and he was pretty good, but then i just opened blaster and he kinda sucked. QC was terrible, thought i was going to break the damn thing in transformation. I thought he was going to be as incredible as heero toys soundwave. Silly me already bought twincast since I have soundblaster... ohwell will keep him in alt mode and display with MPs :)

I LOVE this line!! it is soo fun. I have slowly been falling in love with WST predaking but no way in hel am i going to spend that much. I would rather find someone to make it for me than to cough up that much money!

wow the wst reflector is gorg. where did u get it?

Yeah, thanks he is great albeit very delicate. Probably my rarest piece, that or arcee. Ninjahandz here on the boards made him (he owns printoys) and I was lucky enough to get my name down for a toon accurate one at the eleventh hour. He did some in toy accurate colours as well - and with enough interest he is currently talking about doing wst insecticons!

What's the story on this guy?

I bought him recently and have been trying to research the history for the sake of curiosity because I remember it seeing him online before, I just don't remember if it was official, KO or 3rd Party. Anyone know?

If you want to give yourself serious eye strain, I highly recommend Reprolabeling WST Soundwave. Prime was a doddle in comparison. I love the way he looks with this set, except the red stickers over his knees needed trimming as they get scrunched during transformation.

I have one of those too but I'm not really sure about the origin either, my guess would be third party but I just got mine via eBay so not due on the real origin, really doubt it's official though.
