Okay my first thread ever. Where to start? What's with the Bumblebee obsession? I went into argos to get either RID Cliffjumper, Soundwave, Wheeljack anyone who wasn't that new Bumblebee. Guess what they had? Two Bumblebees only, no voyager figs either, no cyberverse, just two deluxe Bumblebees. The new Bumblebee is a disgrace to the FE one which will never come out here. I didn't buy these or own them. I found this on Google images. It shows how much better the FE version is compared to the RID version WTF IS THAT THING! The 2007 movie started all this Bumblebee crap. They say kids looove Bumblebee which they do and so do I but come on we don't need these pointless repaints and remolds. My theory is that there is only Bumblebees because everyone bought the others and nobody wanted Bumblebee. AWWW poor Bumblebee! Stop with all the Bumblebees. News of a Leader Bumblebee for TFP just makes me sick
Hasbro are not going to consistently make a product that doesn't sell. Bumblebee sells. The money from these sales pay for other toys. It's simple capitalist logic. If you hate Bumblebee that much, why the heck did you buy two? Seems incredibly ironic, if you ask me. You've just added to his massive sales figures.

Seriously, why is it so hard to understand the reasoning behind Hasbro's decision to release several Bumblebees. WHY?
Several? Okay. Original movie deluxe, fine, new 2007 camero version fine, giant ugly ultimate Bumblebee? WTF. More repaints. Fine just a few. MORE REPAINTS! WHY? Ultimate Bumblebee again!? WHY!!!! ROTF Cannon Bumblebee? Meh. More repaints. Ugh. HA Bumblebee. Okay that's amazing. HFTD Bumblebee is amazing. Deluxe DOTM Bee. I understand it's a new line so one Bumblebee is fine. Leader Bumblebee instead of Megatron. WHY? MOAR REPAINTS!!11! First edition Bumblebee. Okay new line and new design, cool. Terrible remold of a cool figure that barely got released anywhere? WHY!?? A silly blue repaint? Why?
This is true, but still. I like to think that that shitty TFTM Bumblebee eventually paid for my RTS Grappel.
I happen to think that "silly blue repaint" looks badass. While the silly yellow bot looks like total crap.
A quick quote from myself from the UK Toy discussion; If you include the two Blue repaints in Wave 3, 9 out of the first 24 Prime toys will be B'Bee, or his mould. What you have to remember is that when Parents buy these for kids eek , who are they going to buy? Especially as they are only likely to buy a few figs, not the whole range like we are. That Ambulance guy that never leaves the base? Nope the kid appeal character that's in EVERY episode.... The real question is why does Cliffy who was killed off in the first episode, get more case-space than Soundwave?
How about the fact that the non-show character who is a remold of a figure in every wave gets more space than the troop-builder that's in every episode?
Bumblebees are frequently over packed and Hasbro overestimates the little guys popularity. Also, if a kid already has a Bumblebee, they aren't going to buy a million more. I think Hasbro should go back to the old way of doing things like in Armada, Energon and Cybertron. One version for each character, with the occasional repaint.
Oh look, another thread ranting about Bumblebee. It's getting to the point of what do you even say that you haven't three hundred times before? These threads are the deffinition of insanity. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Or more specifically, posting the same thing over and over and expecting something to happen.
