Love the Targetmasters, they're some of the nicest Master figures. If you're collecting loose, they're the easiest to buy incomplete, the bodies sell for dirt cheap. Only slightly pricey parts are the guns. Even they aren't that bad.

Beautiful display UN, I am jealous :)  next house, we'll see where I go with mine, I was planning on going in that general direction. but not sure about all the lights.

I would really love to see them all. That is a dream for me, to have a complete run of us g1 mib. Hat's off to you sir. I like the pictures of the Japanese boxes and exclusives and all but when it comes right down to it. The us G1 still ranks numero uno. I hope you will oblidge!

I just discovered something last night while fiddling with my Pretenders that could or could not be common knowledge. Is Pretender Grimlock's large rifle meant to double as his sword? I see no mention of it in tfwiki.net, but it does fit in his hand held as a sword, and the undercarriage of the gun does look like a Dinobot sword. If it is, only took me a mere twenty-four years to figure that one out!

Ouch. Yep, the gun works well as a sword. Worked it out the day I got him :)

Not only that, but that gun design is clearly the bases for the gun that Classics Grimlock came with. I've heard it said that the Classics toy was based off the pretender and I believe it. Between the transformation scheme, the tail as a weapon, and the sword/gun weapon, there are too many similarities to ignore.

    man, that's nice. So reflective.

What lights are at the top shelf? Looks like halogen lights, which i think generates a lot of heat?

    Cool pics.

Used to have the Sports car patrol and the Rescue Patrol, but sold them a few years ago (2008).

Sometimes I regret it. They were in very good condition and fun little figures.

But I still have my old KO Battle Patrol set (beneath my monitor). They sadly don't look nearly as good as the originals (far less paint apps).

I don't think I'll ever rebuy them, but I do wish we get new versions. Would like it if they MP'd them. Would result in legend/scout class figures and with gangmolding they could keep the cost down.

    Thanks guys :)

I'm sure your will be impressive. In my country, housing is expensive and a home with space is not cheap. After this 2nd cabinet, I'm not sure I'll be able to move into another house with equal/more space. It was a difficult decision for where the G1s should go. Now that they have vacated the original cabinet, I've freed up a lot more space for my classics/MP collection. The original cabinet is at least twice this size. My photos may not show it properly but the lights make a whole lot of difference. Once I switch them on, everyone goes 'wow'....even my wife's lady friends. That was the best compliment LOL

The reflection by the sides are actually the black glass doors which conceal the display when no one's around/from sunlight when not "in used". Those are LED lights. In fact all the lights are LEDs. Cost me a few TAKARA MIB vintages to install those.

I'll need to get a wide(r) angle lens to be able to shoot the rest of the room. Anyway, this is in the hall. The main display room is not featured (because it's in a terrible mess and doubles as my studio right now)

That's my stand in (incomplete) BZ. Didn't have time to open up my MIB one to display. ;)

    Haha...Maybe?

Yup, I've always saw the weapon more as a sword than a gun.

    Thanks! :)

I was thinking of displaying King Poseidon with the MF figures. In fact there were more than a few occasions when I had to decide where to place the figures (e.g Junior Headmasters, Powermasters, etc). I think I may have to get a few doubles to 'complete' the display
