    Thanks for the measurements Brr.

Seeing all of these pictures of Galaxy Shuttle lately bumped him up a few notches on my Japanese want list.... My wallet thanks everyone...

no problem. Be patient with Galaxy Shuttle. His price fluctuates pretty severely.

Posted about the set of three of these today, needed some more Micromaster content lol

Can you guys do me a favor? I'm on the hunt for a MISB Powermaster Prime. If you see one, can you send me a PM?

I'm still torn about what I want Peter Cullen to sign at Texas Comic Con but now I'm leaning towards PP. It was my childhood Prime :)

I haven't had time to contribute to this thread. It saddens me. Work has been nuts.

Roadbuster is definately on the harder to come by side of 1985, especially boxed. He's less abundant than all mail-order figures except Downshift. Roadbuster, based on eBay availability data is tied for 2nd on the least-available G1 figures from 1985.

Oh, and if people wondered how availability compared from year to year, here are the true hit averages for all the figures from a given year (the actual number of figures that appear in an eBay search):
[BTW, Roadbuster's true hit average is 15]

    G1
    1984- 40
    1985- 44
    1986- 30
    1987- 23
1988- 17 (if this is parsed further, the non-Pretender average is 20, the Pretender average is 11)
    1989 (Pretenders-only)- 7

[data here isn't as robust as I've only been collecting it since November, so the numbers are subject to change over time. G1 goes back to early June]
    Beast Wars
    1996- 28
    1997- 22
    1998- 30
    1999- 23
    2000- 10

    Beast Machines
whole line- 16 (the average starts out strong but drops by release block- Dec 1999 was 38, Spring 2000 was 20, Summer 2000 was 15, Fall/Xmas 2000 was 10, 2001 was 7).

And interestingly Roadbuster was released in the US, Canada, Belgium, Germany, Holland, France, Luxembourg, Austria, probably Spain and some Scandinavian countries too...whereas the mailaways were often restricted to North America.

    All the best
    Maz

To be honest, I don't think it's all that rare. It's special, but not really rare.

3 has been in my hands before (sold 2); I know a guy who has 3; another USA collector who has 1; and Yigal sold 1 awhile back. Plus yours and wsx's, that's already 10 and its just the ones I know
