no problem man, now figuring out how to get it to you lol.
awesome, one of my favorite molds, needs more Buster and Hydra ;)
removing the spring and keeping it in a baggie in the box would be better than stretching it i would think, but stretching would probably work
nice, he's probably my favorite triple changer.

second review of the day, Masterforce Overlord, someone in the Victory Saber review thread asked if i could do it, so i figured why not

Congrats on finding those Dreadwind and Darkwing toys, Chefdova! I really think I should replace my Dreadwind/Darkwing figures at some point - so many of their tabs are broken...

I also love the pics of Astrotrain and Overlord. I wish I'd put Overlord on my December wish list back in 1988. He's become so expensive to complete.

Figured this would be the better place to ask rather than starting up a new thread. I just bought a loose Rippersnapper off of Transformerland, failed to notice that he had rusty screws. What is the best way of removing the rust? The screws I may just replace, but it looks like the plastic has rust on it as well.
Not a good shot, but you can see where the rust is on some of the screw holes.
Buy Transformers Rippersnapper - Gestalts (Combiners) - G1 Action Figures and Toys for Sale

Also a quick action master related question. For the partners like Glitch and Fistfight, what are the sizes of the peg holes? Notice Transformerland has a bunch of them listed sans arms and I was thinking about maybe army building. Thinking about maybe trying to use cyberverse weapons as replacement gun arms. Just not sure if they'd be compatible.

I would use a soft cloth. If the rust doesn't come off I'd make the cloth damp, afterwards carefully drying the toy.

For fatty substances I usually use alcohol; it's normally fine to use on plastic (never had any problems), but may damage paint apps and stickers.

This photo rocks, and so do these figures. I love them so much on the show, and the toys look great. Japanese TF pipedreams *sigh*

Geez, leave some for the rest of us ;)

There aren't many TFs that look more badass than Astrotrain in package.

Unfortunately I can't keep all the dreadwinds and Darkwings I have to many wants needs in my collection. So I will be selling all but one of each. Can't decide if ill keep the mosc ones or the mib. I don't like sealed stuff as much because I like to take out the figures but its tempting to keep the sealed ones!

sell the sealed ones, you'll be missing some of the best molds by only looking through the box lol

I would love to keep two of each but I can probably get enough for the sealed ones to fill a number of holes in my collection.

Agreed. I've had sealed in the past but never got much enjoyment out of them. I do enjoy the price i got for them so I ended up with two very nice mib for the one sealed.

Been kinda busy with holiday stuff, but WOW lots of awesome going on over the last couple of days!

Agreed about Trypticon & Full Tilt's gun. I was lucky enough to have my cousin give me back my Trypticon from when I was a kid. It was never complete even back then. I've been able to get all of his accessories at reasonable prices & through trades, but I cannot seem to make myself pull the trigger Full Tilt's gun, I just can't rationalize the price that it goes for verses how small it is.

@Chris LOVE the boxed Seekers, that Skywarp is immaculate!

@eriku getting a Star Saber is definitely a momentous point in collecting. I juat got mine a few months ago, grats! I had just the opposite problem with mine, I had a hard time getting the head to go down over the brainmaster, scared the bugeezus out of me, took me a couple of weeks to get up the courage to make it go down...that'll make the ol' butt hole pucker lol.

Nice Astrotrain. I sold mine years ago and have been regretting it ever since. Definitely cooler than Blitzwing. I always loved his voice in the cartoon.

yeah I don't do the boxes either. only reason I keep them is if I ever sell them. what good is a transformer if you cant transform it. also wish they would do a encore of trypticon. anyone know what the next encore is anyway?
