I agree. I've always liked Tracks. He was my favorite Autobot car from '85. I liked him a lot even as a kid. I recently sold the rest of my '85 cars but decided to keep Tracks. I might pick up a boxed one eventually.

Unfortunately yes he does have a leg issue. Yesterday was the first time that I transformed him back into car mode since I got him and I was upset that his left leg would not go all the way back in. It always wants to spring back out. I know it is a common issue with this figure.

Every time I see a pic of Bumblejumper, red Bumblebee, and yellow Cliffjumper together I salivate a little. I really need to track those down someday.

The metal was broken in mine, but the metal can be replaced with a bit of the tubular plastic used in cotton buds. It needs to fit where the metal used to be, and should be made thicker in the middle. For this you can use another bit of the handle, 'wrapped around' the middle.

I would take pictures of the inside of my Tracks's legs, but the screws are covered by stickers.

i'll be back home on Wednesday and will be working on a blog post about my trip. Didn't see too much G1 (or any actually) that i was hoping i would find. I did get a few pieces. I saw a Metrotitan, a couple of Euro Thunderclash's MIB, and lots of MPs.

    I bought these stamp dudes

Found them while stumbling around Akihabara trying to find Mandarake Complex. They also had a Pointblank and a Sluggslinger. I should have bought all 4 but passed not knowing what else I would find. Not going back there so oh well.

    I used this guide here.

    Community › Blogs › Akihabara Shopping Map - MyFigureCollection.net (Tsuki-board.net)

I think it was Parts Paradise since the banners had a tropical logo to them. It was that area for sure.

Brr-Icy, did you have a photograph of both 1984 Bumblebees & Cliffjumpers, Bumblejumper, and Hubcap all together in both modes?

    Cool.

BTW, Red Bumblebee & Yellow Cliffjumper, from compiling my eBay abundance stats don't seem very uncommon. Don't have hard numbers but in tallying up the number of relevant hits, these came up fairly often for what seems like an obscure variant.

Question. Red Bumblebee, Yellow Cliffjumper, Bumblejumper... do they only exist pre-rub or did some of them had availability during the introduction of the rubsigns? Likewise with carded versions with the minispy vehicles.

Oh yeah. Hubcap is on the rarer side of figures from G1 (not that any of them are truly rare). Early pre-toy fair catalogs from 1986 actually had him colored white (and I think with a magenta face). Might've helped his sales because how many passed on him because he looked too close to Bumblebee (who was still available in 1986 with 1 per case).

Nope, none are uncommon, even Bumblejumper can be found pretty easily. But foreign variants are a different story, some seriously rare figures there... And if you look at the pic i posted you'll see the red Bumblebee and yellow CJ in alt modes have rub signs. Bumblejumper was a pre rub release only. Sort of...

Ah hell I may as well post some more minibot pictures. My original Bumblebee has two loose arms and my yellow Cliffjumper has one loose arm. Apart from that they're pretty nice.

Thanks! Appreciate it. Figured it would be easier to find the micromaster than other pieces.

    Zombie minibots! "....Energooooooon...." Looking nicely,

Cool Puma! I see you went to "Jungle" too. It's where I almost bought the faded Darkwings set. I decided against it eventually. G1 doesn't shift at all in Akiba. With those prices nobody's surprised.

Hope you had a blast in Japan!

    Cool Punch!

he he yeah I have always displayed my minibots that way when in robot mode for some reason. That's their "action" shot. lol. It also helps me remember which ones have loose arms. Fortunately only a couple have them.
