All bought between the ages of 10 and 15. Likely very few using my own money.

Every single one of you guys have made my day. I love you all.

So, I was going to resticker my G1 Megatron today. I removed his gun labels (stock labels, labels on the gun itself), and I just can't bring myself to do it. It just looks SO cool as a lethal firearm. Now I only regret that we didn't get a G1 sniper rifle of some kind with all kinds of attachments. I also want pre-TFs stuff more and more, just because of the same coolness.

I am also envious of you guys and your packaged TFs. I heart TF packaging so much. NO packaging compares to it.

(again, an older photo, but: )

I'm so very proud to say that I've been the only owner of that box as well! :)

@Easterling Capt, oh my oh my oh my that is just insane. I don't collect MIB simply because it's too spendy for me, but wow I love the G1 boxes! I'm gonna go search the collections section for your name now :)
@jazz89, my Megs in the above pic is Encore (which I actually don't own anymore, sold, but I like the pic).
And everyone in here, I love all the pics. Keep 'em coming.

@periL75: Well I started with reissues and loose specimens of the finest quality I could find when I started. I den decided in the great purge of 2006 to go all MIB and sold of all my toys that was not G1. The first two MIB:s I got was Blitzwing and Tracks, Once you go MIB you never go back (same reason I will never buy a AFA thing..I wouldent eb able to stop).

Anyway this is how it looked when I was living at home before the MIB journey started. This pic must be atleast 6 years old

    MIB or MISB?

My collection is a real mixture of boxed and loose, and bar one or two exceptions, I don't really care for the boxes. A MISB to me is no good, I need to be able to transform the toy. I've cracked open a few MISB toy in the last decade.

Regardless, and although MISB might not be for me, a stunning collection and thank you for sharing.

I had purchased a Soundwave just because I love the figure. I was shocked at how small he was. As a kid he seemed huge for some reason. I know thats off topic a bit

My kind of thread! But I don't have any recent pictures of my G1 collection. But it is my pride and joy (and pretty much the only TF figures I own these days, save a smattering of Legends/Cyberverse)

Finally a thread I can more than relate too. I was feeling less and less interested on the boards because I don't really enjoy classics/ generations etc. And more an more was I beginning to feel 'old'. Now thankfully it's al over and I can enjoy this thread even more! I will be displaying my collection in march so untill then no pics from my side of the globe. Keep up the beautiful G1 pics!

I have to agree with everyone's sentiments about this thread. It is fantastic! I understand that many other TF lines have had very cool stuff that has been brought to the table so to speak but I am really attached to G1 myself too being that I grew up during the prime years of G1. Articulation lacking bricks they may be but they are where Transformers all began and G1 has the most memorable characters. You just can't help but to love G1. I hope to contribute some pics of my G1 collection here soon too.
