Recently moved and don’t have much display space right now (the next place will rectify that). My 84/85 guys are still in storage, so this will have to do for my G1 display for now though I’m gonna need some better risers.

Also, second set of Glacial Lords showed up. Here’s the packaging since some of you were interested.

Fun fact, no-one could find the original battle scene artwork when we did the sticker book, so it had to be redrawn in full.

Well you guys did a fantastic job!

I really wish I could get a copy of the sticker book. The more of this kind of art I can get, the better. Really too bad this stuff didn’t continue, there’s a couple characters in that art that I’d really like to see more of.

What do you guys use to remove old, original stickers that are in bad shape? I don't want to risk removing any paint or anything. (did the G1 figures have paint lol?)

Goo Gone. I use it all the time.

Edit. They had paint on the die-cast parts but I never had an issue w/them

On all my Toyhax posts I used Goo Gone as well. Just be sure to wipe it down with water after so there's no residue from Goo Gone before you put new stickers on

So I noticed that by chance, I've picked up one G1 figure a month each month this year. So I think I'll try to continue that through the rest of the year.

The first figure was G1 Snapdragon I bought from a boardmember:

In February I decided to reclaim one of my most beloved figures I owned as a child:

March is sort of a cheat as it’s the new repaints but I am counting them lol.

I just placed the order for the April figure and I'll post it when it arrives.

Snapdragon was one of the last figures I bought during G1. It was either him or the autobot clones. I really liked that figure and I’m sure it’s not cheap to find one complete now. Yours looks really nice and brings me back.

Alright! G1 update from me! First post, 2010 G1 reissue Predaking. One of the best G1 figures for a variety of reasons BUT the top reason, in my opinion, are the accessories. This figure was essentially an accessory pack for all those kids that lost G1 guns.

    • Biggest complaints:
    • loose animal tails,
    • Rampage’s head was glued to the body, and
    • Sticker adhesive is terrible.
Beyond that, I’m glad to own this figure again!

    Post 2! Boxed G1 Thundercracker.

Thundercracker is my favorite G1 seeker and probably second favorite Decepticon behind Megatron. The toy is special to me because I owned the mail away version growing up and it was an agonizing decision to select him lol. I remember counting points and only had enough for one, but I wanted Sunstreaker and Mirage too. Oh well, I think I made the best choice lol.

Now, maybe it’s been forever since I handled a vintage S1 jet but I love how the wings sit flush against the body. It’s weird how newer releases have a gap between the body and wings.

Next step for this figure… Reprolabels!

Found this variant/knockoff of Shrapnel at a collectibles store. Does anyone know what it is? No weapons or underside "legs" included.

I'm so blessed to have got one of the super limited Scrounge figures from Toyfu, absolutely lovely.
