Thanks for the suggestion! Two arms of some kind is probably the way to go. I guess I should have been specific that I also want them high enough to be at least slightly over G1-Megatron height (I guess I could put a stand on a tier too). Maybe one arm can somehow plug into where the landing gear normally is and another can support in back. Hmm....

I'd think that something that AFA Graded worthy would be worth at least USD4.5K and above?  

 

I don't show enough appreciation to G1. This is after all that line that got so many 80s babies into the world of Transformers. So I'm gonna show some love to Inferno. It's the reissue that came out several years back, but it's still a great G1 figure. I like the articulation in the arms, and holy cow, look at that ladder! It stretches out to almost three times it's length. Perfect for high rise rescues.

I had to repair my swoop beak back in the day and it's still holding up to this day and fully functional. So yes it can be repaired. That being said, I would inquire about any shipping insurance that might have come automatically, such as the base $50 USPS gives you with any priority shipment. I'm not sure if you have to give them the item or just show them it's broken to get the insurance money. If it's the later then it's worth a shot.

I have had a few of these and have generally got my way.

If it was advertised as intact then your case is pretty much right for a refund. eBay buyer guarantee means if it is not what was advertised you are entitled to a full refund and the seller even needs to pay the return postage.

This shouldn't vary by region, so if you are a not happy you definitely should speak to the seller and see their stance. Some might just say to send it back (sometimes expecting you to pay the postage, don't do this, it's their responsibility) and some negotiate a partial refund.
