    great post @barry I share a similar history with Grapple, one of my first G1.

    I bought a MISB Commemorative reissue (blue eyes, why not orange head?) and today I bought the new Earthrise to let my son play with. The nostalgia just really kicks in for me, as I never personally owned characters like Prime, Megatron, etc, so had to make do with the characters I had.

    I also managed to score an absolutely mint G1 original figure with box and bubble, but no accessories or paperwork. I was amazed how clean it was, especially the chrome and joints all stiff like new. I thought it had to be a clever reissue as it had the chrome hook and support unlike the reissue. Turns out is was bought for an unwell child who only recently passed on, so they were selling his old vintage items to raise money for charity. Quite poignant and glad I could contribute at the same time.

    I agree about Jungle being a great online source for Japanese G1. Back in 2014, I remember they had MISB of Leozak, Hellbat, Drillhorn, Getaway, Sandstorm, Octane, and MIB of lo
    Jungle's selection (Mirage, Wheeljack, Computron, Chromedome, etc) seems ok but prices are a bit high -> Product list | JUNGLE Special Collectors Shop

    I got a bunch of stuff from them in 2014 and prices were a bit more reasonable back then (e.g MISB Lightfoot for approx 250 USD).

    I've noticed that as well. The scary part is that they will get somebody who will pay those prices for their open/incomplete ("B") items. Then again...

    I realized that me giving the War for Cybertron trilogy a second chance is working for me. And the best part? No brain farts when I try to plan out possible designs for my dream office/collection studio. :cool:
