Maz, Great shots of Diaclone Prime. Love seeing pictures of the little features not often remembered.

Wow, that's incredible. The forebearer of great Transformer toys. In a word: AWESOME!!!!

One thing I've noticed - my vintage Prime's legs and feet are lined up so that he can stand fine on a flat surface. However, every reissue Prime I've owned or seen has a problem where the feet are slightly off alignment so that he does not stand flush on a flat surface. Instead, the two legs point slightly outward so that he rocks slightly when standing on a flat surface. I've been wondering if this is a mold degredation problem, or just my bad luck with 3 or 4 reissue primes?

thanks everyone for the kind words.

white balance wasn't co-operating lol. it's got a greenish tinge in person.

thanks, and good luck...mine cost me a scorp body (it was bought to repair mine that fed ex damaged, so it had served it's purpose for me)

Love the diaclone Prime, I have the metal plate G1, need to find a nozzle and hose to have it at 100%

    Love that shot of Blaster!

Though I didn't like that re-issue, the color of the legs bothered me, and my stickers were put on badly, and a few were peeled and a bit damaged. I was sads :(

    They so purdy!!!

I wonder what general group if figures is the biggest pain to find complete. Headmasters etc seem like they're up there.

Small Pretenders make the difficulty in finding complete Headmasters seem trivial.

Haha, I can imagine. How popular are Pretenders, anyway? They're kinda of a weird concept and most of the toys aren't so impressive to me but there's got to be some folks who freaking love them. I remember thinking the monster ones looked neat enough in the comic and I really like the similarities many BW figures have to them.

I snapped up a Trypticon in great condition off eBay earlier this week. It arrived today. He's complete with an unused sticker sheet. The seller had even framed the box art and tech-spec. And he still walks too! These are the eBay pics (I was too lazy to take my own).

Trypticon is pretty high up there on my want list as far as G1 stuff goes...that's an awesome purchase though for sure.

I don't know if this is really the case, but I always saw the Pretenders as the beginning of the downfall of the G1 line. As toys, they are pretty crappy; the vehicle modes look like folded up robots and the shells are like statues. I got Landmine, Waverider, and Classic Jazz as a kid and they were such lousy toys I didn't want any more Pretenders. However, the Mega Pretenders are really cool and have a lot of play value.

I don't have many G1 boxes, since I don't usually buy MIB, but I got a good deal on these at Botcon (each about the same as the average price for loose/complete). Forgive the phone-quality pics, I didn't have my good camera.
