Beast Wars Appreciation Thread

It’s a new year, and that means it’s time for another Beast Wars Appreciation thread. 2012 will see the return of Beast Wars to the toy scene, at least in part, thanks to United Optimus Primal, and of course, Megatron . . .

Posted this before, but this is my BW status as of now.

Five fun and funky Fuzors ans one miserable mosquito(/whip spider).
Hope to get some of the Mutants and Maximal Fuzors (not sure why I'm liking bots with two beasts so much). Don't know if I want too many, though. There's something special about only having a handful of them.

I'm currently waiting on Henkei Cheetor and Henkei Dinobot to arrive. They're the 1st BW stuff I've bought since the Telemochas stuff came out all those years ago.

Will we see new BW inspired stuff coming our way this year? Sadly I don't think we will.

Answering a question from the end of the 2011 thread, I enjoyed The Gathering but was also disappointed by The Ascending. Interesting that The Gathering started its life as a story called Shall Game and was to be released by Dreamwave. From what little I know about it, I'm glad Furman changed direction with it.

2012 - The Year of the Dragon. Let's cross our fingers for Masterpiece TM2 Megatron!

Then just edit whatever you posted there into the one you just made. There's no shame in a rehash.

Also, I'd be down for a MP Dinobot too.

I still love Beast Wars just as much as ever. One day I'll actually get Terrorsaur and Optimal, just to finish my collection legit. (I use Primal prime and Lazorbeak as stand in because I like their decoes more) I got Shout's complete series set for Xmas and have been watching it. I have a bar in the basement I use for display and a big TV across from it. I sit at the bar and watch the show occasionally picking up one of the toys. Good stuff.

Yeah even today it stands as my favorite series. I will admit that TF Prime is getting close though, but hey, there's enough room for two favorites I suppose.
