If they ever did a MP BW figure, I hope it's given it's own nomenclature like the movie Starscream/Bumblebee figures and not say MP 14, 15 etc because that would really break things up. The Masterpiece line has been entirely G1 and lets face it THEY NEEDED IT.

I forgot how bad ass certain TM2 figures look. Jawbreaker looks fantastic, but Prowl is significantly better as a figure. Probably won't trouble myself to find any other ones beyond the Iguanus I have coming, but yeah.

Do you TM 2 Spittor or Cybershark? Those two are great if you don't have them.

Just ordered B'boom. First BW purchase in over a year, but I love the guy. Next I'll probably spring for Big Convoy.

I had Spittor (the RID Predacon 3-pack version) and Cybershark (and Sky Byte at another point in time). Neither one is priority. And Cybershark is cheap enough and common enough either way.

B'boom is a good one, but it just wasn't doing anything for me. I'd almost rather have Transquito. But Inferno was the best Mega of all time.

Edit: Damn, Inferno is going to be my next purchase.

I was under the impression that the Hasbro version was more accurate, even if it did break more easily...

I have a TM Megatron MISB... kind of thinking of opening but never transforming it. If the Metals version is indeed more accurate I might just go with that one, though.

Finally dug out some of my Beast Wars stuff. I've definitely been on a buying frenzy with Japanese BWs.

Scored Magmatron, Lio Convoy, Big Horn, B'Boom, Tasmania Kid, Big Convoy and have Galvatron, Starscream/BB, and Tripredacus Agent on the way. In the process of scoring a Takara Magnaboss, Black Lio Convoy, Longrack, Megastorm, Stampy, Breaker, And Armordillo. Definitely caught the BW fever strong this year!

Metals is moe accurate. Instead of brown it's black, and instead of gold it's grey.

Also B'boom rocks. I especially loved his battle station mode with it's own head. It's like an artillery playform and kind of made him the single most devastating individual. Combine that with an agile mandrill mode and a robot mode with a shotgun and he's one of the cooler mofos from Beast Wars. Also yo man mohawk man mohawk mohawk yo.

Jawbreaker is freaking cool! Loves the spinning saw blade that he has on his back. :lol

    Prowl = WIN.

I mean, how many BWs figs can TF into an owl? He's easily one of my faves in TM series. :)

Next to Blackarachnia, Prowl is my favorite TM figure. I like him so much that I decided to get the white and black versions. He is without a doubt one of the few figures in my collection that I'll never sell.

That's like saying Santon/Ironhide is awesome because elephants.

Oddly enough I'm more attached to the earlier figures, but I like the TM2 aesthetic better, with the regular Transmetals a close second. I don't understand. Definitely looking forward to the parts of that lot that I'm keeping... Hopefully I can get enough out of the rest to cover the purchase price.

... and speaking of TM2, I just scored a Rapticon, and damn this guy's even nicer than I'd expected. I've always liked the TM2 Dinobot mold, but these colours work so much better than the tan/white/bone/whatever in my opinion, and there's like no dead space on it. If I didn't already have this stuff, I'd have nabbed the TM Tarantulas, TM Rattrap, etc from Robogeek28 as well, but I guess that just means there's more for others hah.

Got Depth Charge not too long ago. Been wanting him for years and finally picked him up. Arrived in bot mode (no instructions) so I sat down and figured out his transformation, it was really satisfying.

Now my Rampage finally has someone to argue with.

I really feel like buying some Transmetal figures after rewatching Beast Wars. I'm eyeing Transmetal Megatron (the Japanese one that apparently doesn't break) and Optimal Optimus.

Both are fantastic and my favorite toy versions of each character.

I also wish this came out so I could use it as my Transmetal 2 Megatron. I don't really like his regular design.

Anyone know the differences between Metals Primal and TM Primal? Specifically, could I use a mace from one for the other without it looking weird? Only asking because I'd be guaranteed an increased return on it if I could find the extra mace, but I don't want to put the effort in if they're too different.

I don't blame ya they're awesome figs. I've been looking around for a Metals Megatron and he's very HTF though. The TM Megatron is much easier to find but people have been saying he suffers GPS symptoms :(

Even though that sketch lks awesome the original design still looks wicked imo, I mean what's not to like about a shiny dragon :p

I just bought a Metals Optimus vs Megatron set and I happen to have a TM Optimus too. I can tell you the difference in a few weeks time :p

this beats the snot out of his normal tm2 design. that freaking tail on his head just looks so stupid. like anti-pope.
