Not quite the ugliest toy I've got on hand, but the only one uglier was an Animorphs toy and I didn't think it would count.

lolz! I only have one young'un, (15) I barely even know he exists most of the time and I STILL don't get to dust my tfs like I would like to...

you totally should! peeps (no pun intended either...) will get a kick out of that!

 

I am aware, and I'm terribly sorry to keep excluding you whenever I actually get a chance to play, but by some odd chance nearly all of the toys I own that I consider to be irredeemably hideous are also beasts. Now I know that the solution there is to simply stop playing my ugly-as-sin theme, but where's the fun in that?

My only regret is that I have yet to obtain an Injector. Love his ugly arse, but I refuse to pay more than $5-10 at most for it.

That's uncanny... I was going to counter Warpath with that same toy but my camera wasn't working.

 

New counter is Gold Legends Animated Optimus Prime. (Too many words!)

Any Transformers or vintage pre-TF Browning (Masterforce, Takara Micro Change, Finnish or GiG Micro Change, Joustra Diaclone) but no modern or vintage bootlegs.

God, how I wish they would print an art book of all the glorious Joustra box art
Or make some HQ prints to mount on a wall... Oh well

 

I've been meaning to do something like this as I have some pieces no one else does, but there are also 4 pieces of Joustra box art never seen. That's the problem. The artists who did the first series did not do series 2 production art, we don't know who did. So we have to wait for those toys to surface. It took 30 years for a Joustra Lancia (Wheeljack) to surface so goodness knows how long we must wait for the rest.

Glad you've thought about doing something like that, I certainly hope that I live to see the day when all the Joustra box art has been found (and placed in the hands of those kind enough to share), though I suspect it will come with its share of sadness, having concluded such a long standing mystery...

Luckily there always seem to be more quests if intrigue in this hobby, and should a bookend ever be placed on the completion of Joustra box art, I look forward to any collected works and displays that could come of it, as the originals are (for now) beyond my reach, and because I believe such art deserves to be appreciated by as many as possible  

 

My old beat to hell one, should replace it someday
