Ah. Arms Micron Smokescreen. The disappointing one.

    Interesting choice!

I counter with the last of my decoys:

"A cursory evaluation of contribution frequency indicates a distinct deficiency in interest."
In other words, Perceptor, they don't give a crap about your little rubber ass.

In the meantime, perhaps my collection of Marvel Cinematic Universe figures will generate more interest...?

Ah okay. I had a 50/50 shot. I thought that was Thanos' secretary guy from Avengers and Gaurdians.

Our next utterly unpredictable challenge is hiding under his "mutant mask."

    Takara Beast Wars C-4, Dinobot.

This 1997 reissue series (with metallic Beast Wars logo and "100% CG" sticker) featured slightly altered paint app's to more accurately reflect the animation models.

Note the beast mode now has white eyes, rather than the original yellow:

One wonders why they would bother with such pointlessly minor deco changes, however, when such glaring design problems continue to plague both modes...

We all know Jetbolt loves to play Dinobot, but does he have this particular release?

So he can show it to his other figures when they start to complain. It's his version of starving kids in Africa.

"Oh, so you're complaining about kibble, huh? Look at poor Ultra Mammoth over there! Boy's nothing BUT kibble! You should be happy you got so lucky to just have an airplane backpack!"

Actually, I have the Hasbro release as well, but Jetbolt already played him, so... yeah.

I'm transfixed by your setup, tekering. The Marvel figures pictures aside, there's no shadow and just a hint of a reflection. It's almost like the figures are floating.

What is it, a piece of glass with a gray background? I can never seem to find the horizon.

It's just a glass table from a second-hand furniture store I bought last year:

It allows me to get much larger group shots than I could manage with my lightbox.

Shallow depth-of-field. It's there, just out of focus:

'Cause they suck, and I want people to know it. :p

If there's anything this forum has taught me, it's that you can't post legitimate criticism without first-hand experience.
In other words, if you want to bitch about lousy figures, you've gotta buy 'em first. ;)

Glass table setup is amazing... the lack of any discernable horizon is really nice.
