I have both Thunderblast and Elita, and I gotta say they're two of my faves. They do have some massive boat shell kibble, but it helps them get into some unique poses and stay balanced. The gun's huge, so neither of them are posed with it, but it can be attached onto the back for additional weight distribution. The kibble itself doesn't really hinder any of the motion range of the joints, and though the hinge connecting it to the body is small, it does help in being able to position the kibble a little differently.

All in all, a pretty good fembot mold, and absolutely worth it if you can get a deal. Thunderblast ran me $25 MISB, and Elita $35 opened, but I'd pay that again, easily.

Thank you for the input. Honestly, I'm pretty much caught up with my classics/Botcon Classics, and now I get to play and buy little filler shit, so it'll be nice to have at least a representation of Elita 1 in there, even if it's not the best in the world. Thanks dude.

Mayhap My thing with Alternity Starscream is - I really love the design in both modes and the pose-ability is there. What I don't love is the stupid shoulders that don't stay, the fall-off-at-a-glance doors, the wings never staying where they should because there's no locking point and the hip/torso lock is terrible. It's a crappy engineering nightmare but I can't bare to part with it because I'm a ridiculous Starscream fanboy!

I have the original and the DVD exclusive version, and I really like the figure. Yeah, it is a massive shell-former. But I still love it. With as much G1 as I have, being super poseable isn't always required.

Damn dude. I was going to pass on hotshot too, really dislike the rid bee mold (happy with the FE one), but those pics convinced me otherwise. I'll pick him up now and see how the mold actually is.

You can do a lot with a point and shoot. Sure, they have their limits, but you don't need to go nuts buying cameras/equipment to take a good shot. If you get into it though you may eventually want to upgrade to something slightly better if you feel too limited. I was at that point a year ago with my wife's point and shoot, and spent 4 bills on an entry level dslr to try it out. To me, it has been money well spent and I love the new cam, but I also know for some of the other photographers in this thread $400 in photography equipment is the equivalent of buying a pinto at a car dealership. But hey, as long as your happy with the shots your taking the money spent really doesn't matter.

it's ridiculous how much personality that color scheme brings to the mold. Bumblebee made it seem so lackluster

Totally surprised this one didn't take off more. Functionally, it's easily the best 3rd party upgrade ever. I'm gussines it's because it's for Laser Prime, which wasn't actually a character.

And ugh. Grail month starts tomorrow... every picture until then feels like filler.
