No problem, man! But my days of getting exclusive Japanese toys are numbered since I just moved back to the good ol' USA. Still, I might be able to convince the wife (who's still in Japan) to pick me up a few things before she joins me Stateside. XD

As for TFPrime Voyager Optimus, he seemed a bit slow out the gate in Japan at first (seeing how the show hasn't even premiered there yet; it starts airing in April) but slowly but surely he started fading from shelves at the local Kid's Land in Nagoya (where I got my TFPrime Voyager Optimus and Bulkhead figures).

There were plenty of him at the Yodobashi Akiba store in Tokyo when I was there after New Year's but that's a place with a much larger supply chain. Toys'R'Us had a couple of him left on the shelves but there were no signs of Bulkhead or Starscream (and only one Arcee; plenty of BB though, go figure). Which is just as well since I plan to pick up the more affordable Hasbro versions of Deluxe Screamer, Arcee, and BB in the US since they're not too different from the Takara versions from what I've seen.

I wouldn't worry about not finding Voyager Optimus, seeing how we're seeing glimpses of a new one to be released soon with the rest of the official waves after First Edition. And this one has some mold differences like added paint apps and a Bot symbol on the opposite shoulder plus expanded minibot and chromed weapons.

Nice! Did they fix the problems related to the right arm? The original's is pretty limited with the articulation, and like TJ said, the chest isn't too stable because of the way it locks onto the arm.

    Thanks TJ.

That head is the best thing I got at Botcon! I don't know if you have any of the Maiden stuff or not TJ, but it's awesome! By far the best quality garage kit I've ever seen. I don't know how he does it, hand painted resin that's completely flawless!

Honestly, I'm really wanting some sets, especially since I have so many Junkions now, but I'm just not comfortable with the turnaround time. I've had people tell me they've waited 6-7 months and still not gotten their stuff.

RE: BM Terranotron - He makes a great Classics Swoop IMO but in my collection he serves two fold as I don't have an original BW Terrorsaur. Some days he's on my BW Pred shelf and others he's hanging out with my Classics Dinobots.

Still mucking about here. Black backgrounds change everything. I like how the bot mode came out but the alt mode is just a touch too bright. Gonna have to dial down my light more and reshoot.

just wanted to say you guys have been banging out some great stuff so far this year. haven't had much time for picture taking myself yet, but hopefully soon. keep up the great pics, cause I love catching up in this thread.

syd how is that official stepper? looks really nice from the pics. I just can't swallow the pricetag for a deluxe so that's why I made my custom earlier last year. the official does look pretty sweet though.

I don't know how popular Kewpie dolls are in the US (although they originate in the US afaik), but in Japan there is a well known mayonnaise brand called Kewpie. In my head this is TF x Mayo crossover. I think I like it more than I am willing to admit!

The new Voyager apparently comes with new weapon, which by the way it is advertised, might be a new gimmick like minicons or mechteh weapons. Very interesting!
Thank you for telling me how it actually has been in Japan. I was regularly checking online shop listings and Arcee, Vehicon and Starscream sold out fast initially, and Prime was available for preorder for a while. Once they were actually released, the first three were back in stock, but Prime was gone from larger retailers.
(If your wife is in Japan for another 10 days, new United toys will be out, right? :D )

Death333 - As much as I love Speedbreaker, that mould really suits to be a female TF. Car mode looks gorgeous, too!

Cracka - I honestly like your Stepper better :thumb  Official Stepper's black paint seems to scratch off rather easily. His shiny gold face is very nice though.

You too! So wait, you have some of the Hercules figures but didn't open them? Get on it man, enjoy them singly before they spend their life in combined mode!
