At least on Classics Voyager Prime I can understand it, because it is a massively different shaped grill to attain an aesthetically pleasing slimline waist (which is a ridiculous sentence to write about a robot), but on MP-01 its the same size and everything, it just felt cheap. News Credits: 6 | My only problem with it is that they didn't bother to paint them, but I guess those paint aps got cut out for budgetary reasons or whatever causes certain things to get paint aps while other stuff on a figure gets ignored. As for "cheats," I prefer them too since I'd prefer an attempt at accuracy, as best they can manage it. A toy can have a cheat and still be fun, so what do I care? The wheels on DotM Prime only look weird because they're not painted, not because they're molded in there. Quote:

It really shouldn't matter if a bot has 2 arms/2 legs, head, torso etc. but then the fandom would be bitching to no end about how ugly a character is. And let's not even get started on how female bots are always structured (slender/sleek)... Example: Classics/Henkei voyager Optimus Prime for example (and most Primes). A well-built "chest", with the fake grill needed to resemble "six-pack abs" ![]() |
