    Damn. I'll be driving or Metro'ing in on Friday so I imagine I could miss out on what I'm looking for. Ah well, I'll cross my fingers and hope a Sunburn or Quench gets forgotten long enough for me to snap up and if not, oh well more money to hang onto for other things.

    I'd probably pay pretty silly money for a few things like the Black Space team... or the Black Destruction Team. I would really like the Calibur Microns and the Meglo Microns too - but I'm not quite so keen to pay silly money for them... I just think they'd be nice to have.

    If someone is looking to start a collection I'd say if you looking for carded ones the Energon 6 packs might be a good place to start. If you want loose then look for Armada mixed lots.

    One thing people might not think about but that I'd also recommend is the Kabaya Microns... especially the mostly white Air Team (They make a nice opaque Starsaber)

    I also love the original mould Emergency team (in whatever colour) ;

    I think I needed to paint him a little better - looks a little sloppy ;

    So I'd always recommend them too.

    It's weird, but I actually kinda miss the Minicons. They were a fun gimmick, and probably one of the few things that could fully real me back into the franchise. Better articulated Minicons that is... lol

    I got lucky too with some blind packs, cost me about $7 bucks and pulled a Chrome. Of course then I bought a case and had two of them, sold one for $69 before fees.

    This was another lucky one, I have a case that's waiting to come in so I'll probably have an extra again:

    Opened up the rest of the rest of the case for some Micron Boosters and sorted what I wanted to keep, selling the rest on eBay along with extra Campaign ones.

    Still looking for that Ver. 0 case. Almost no hope in ever completing the DVD sets without putting out a LOT of money...

    Minicons are very good.

    Infact Cyberverse to minicons have often impressed me more than larger offerings.

    Bug General was one I was never able to find unfortunately.

    I noticed too that Minicons sometimes have more usable joints than the Legends/Legions do.

    Right, some of the Legends/Legion don't have elbow or knee joints while a few of the minicons do.

    What I also like it that they don't take up too much room when collecting either, though they can get pricy for the rarer ones. I was lucky to have the complete Megalo set, even sold an extra one I had to someone for $50. Still looking for the Platinum Factor though.

    Much as I love Minicons - darn can they be a pain to get in focus being so small.

    I remember when the Meglo-Microns were going for $70.00 and that seemed expensive at the time... and airglide was under $20.00

    Another use for Shockwave / Tidalwave (Laserwave/Shockblast):

    I did notice one retailer at Botcon (off to the left when you walk in) did have some of the DVD Linkage microns, still sealed with the DVD and everything. They had the Street Speed team (is that the closest of the bunch that is closer to "uncommon" rather than "rare?"), two of the Speed Chaser/Magnawing bunch and one of the Aqua Raider members (Bilge, I think). The last one was the only one I didn't already have, but they were asking for $150 and I didn't have that kind of money available unfortunately (plus, I think some of the DVD Linkage microns can be had on Yahoo Japan for around that price, if you use of the middleman sites that will purchase/submit bids for you).

    I also saw multiple Skyglides for cheaper prices than I'm used to seeing. Most other campaign/exclusive microns were much more recent stuff (Arms Micron & Go! kits, the recent Lost Age stuff, United TMs).

    They are easily my favorite gimmick of all time.

    I hope they bring it back.

    Oh definitely, yes. I enjoy them very much. The only bad thing about putting a bunch of them together at one time is my fingers hurt like a bitch afterwards. The Gashapons are fun too. I wish we'd received another wave with versions of other characters like Cliffjumper, Breakdown, Soundwave and Knock Out.

    Alright im going to like it here at this thread and yeah they are awesome i like the orginal minicons as well (i have some not alot might get more later but im hooked on the arms microns).But still love the arms microns i wish they did them over here because takara prime figures are abit pricy but worth it. It be nice to see a new wave of Gashapon arms microns or at lease new japan releases have them because i was sad to find out the Go line doesnt have any.

    Yeah when I was taking apart Arcee arms micron and my Gashapons Bumblebee it was a bit hard getting them off im waiting for my other 10 arms microns,Megatron Darkness,and Leo Prime to come cant wait for them i love that leo prime arms micron is reference to Moon from Beast Wars 2. Id love to see Soundwave arms micron and Cliffjumper the dark energon version would be awesome. Id like to see Rumble and Frenzy arms microns as well for a regular size Soundwave to use.
