45 will have one with Cliffjumper whenever they decide to release him. Lio Convoy just got one. A bunch of Skids repaints. Nightbird. Starscream repaints.

I mean... repaints have made up most of the releases the last couple of years.

Right. It’s not accurate to call that a repaint. And we still got Artfire out of as more of a straight repaint. And I’m familiar with the ones that did, that’s why I didn’t mention them. I feel like prior to MP44 all the G1 MPs got repaints. And they haven’t been doing it to all their MP figures since. Just thought it was notable.

MP-44 especially. Think about all the different versions MP-10 had!

Do you think they will release MP 44 in its entirety or cab-only like they did Nemesis? I’m surprised we haven’t seen that yet.

 

the whole thing, they put too much effort in the design of the Trailer. Still think we haven't got a toy version because will get a 2 in 1 Magnus with a toy style Prime

 

A toy repaint of Optimus Prime would have been great to complement the Megatron. I’m still surprised that hasn’t happened yet. I don’t think it’s a risky release or anything since he’s the face of the the whole line.

 

I wonder how much longer we,are going to have to wait to find out about Jazz and CJ. If it comes down to an agreement with Porshe, can they reveal it now as long as it releases by the time the movie releases, or do they have to wait till the movie releases?

 

Personally, I think they're waiting until closer to or after the movie releases.
We know CJ is on the way. I have zero doubt Jazz will be released hot on his heels. I don't see Hasbro not including merchandise in an agreement with Porsche. Especially when one of the main characters of ROTB is an actual Porsche who transforms into an Autobot.

 

I skipped over MP-44 at first because of the price/my fondness for MP-10 but boy am I ready for him now. A reissue can't come soon enough (hopefully with the knee issue fixed).

 

Thers a chance that these ROTB toys will look bad enough, Porshe might change their mind.   Shame because the BB designs were pretty good.

Hoping we get a preview video for upcoming announcements again in a few weeks. It would be great to get a preview if MP-58 and Seizan.

 

It's slightly worrying, the Wheeljack and Nightbird toys that just leaked aren't licensed. Now, people are saying they aren't the Studio Series versions, they're from a different line, but in the past, even the simpler toys from the films have been licensed, I mean that's the type of contract Hasbro signs...

I really, really don't need that ROTB Mirage toy to leak out and be clearly not a Porsche. I really just don't need that in my life.

 

Dont know if it will or it wont, but I think it safely shoots down tge theory Porshe didnt want to be associated with " war toys".

 

Don't forget, the majority of those we're not intitiated by TT. I think TT only created the regular MP-10, Black COnvoy and the EVA version and Hasbro Asia did YotH. All others were made at the request of stores as an exclusive: the three BAPE versions, the 7-11 version and the Atmos one.

Perhaps the MP-44 mould is too expensive for such a promotion?

But I definitely miss some obvious repaints. Deep cover, Black Ironhide, perhaps even movie green Ratchet, definitely Marvel Comics Ratchet and others already mentioned.

I mean they literally posted this on their channel. I have a feeling CJ will be revealed in a few weeks and release during the ROTB movie period. Hell, they could evem reveal a jazz if theyre working on him. They probably realised it's good publicity for their brand.
