hush, my friend, let the man dream. We all dream once in a while.

    Survey time!

IF and IF (not saying they are) doing a MP Shockwave, what you think or rather what are the accessories you think he will come with?

    Fire away, good people.

My question to that is why would he have to cost that much to be put into production? If there were some justifiable reason IE "we had to buy back the rights to produce this toy", then yea I probably would. For them just to set the price at $200+ out the gate and have a it is what it is attitude then no I'd stick with G1 Shockwave. Maybe I'm just weired but I actually like and have a greater respect for companies who explain parts of their business decisions. I am fully aware that TT nor Hasbro owes me or anyone any explanations but I do not owe them my money either.

i cannot think of anything that should come with him apart from a light up eye and gun gimmick which in my own personal opinion would be awesome

maybe a nice base stand thing like mp01L?

Maybe one of those small Sentinel robots that he had in the show, and that little mini shockwave gun. Other than that I can't think of anything else he had in the show at all........

I may have a hard time accepting Shockwave being 200 and certainly not a 250! Prime and Rodimus yeah because of their trailer, but Shockwave, no way? I see him no different than the Seeker/Soundwave price marker. Shockwave design is simple and straight forward just like Soundwave.

To answer the question, at 200 probably yes. But 250 maybe not unless his accessory is really convincing.

I know, I know... how about a mini-Shockwave be included that's actually the real Shocker and the big one can be his servant brute!

What, that only works for HOS? Wait, that's a stupid story line even there? Never mind then...

I was thinking the same thing. If he had to have accessories, a small sentinel robot is the only thing I could think of. Unless TT wanted to go crazy and give him a lab/operating table and some surgical tools.

As far as a price goes, I couldn't see myself paying more than what I am paying for MP-13 Soundwave. I don't think there is any reason for Shockwave to cost $200 or more. The only way I would spend more on him was if he was loaded with accessories and to be honest, I see no reason for him to come with anything. Accessories are nice and all, but personally, I just display the figures not all the extras.

That is why I am just trying to figure out from the masses, what are the iconic scenes or items he interacted in the G1 animation?

small shockwave he can hold as a gun. maybe carly and her car to go with mp-10's spike? that was the main scene i remember is them speeding by him while he shot at them with himself

but 250, no, soundwave is expensive enough for a single character. prime, sure, that trailer is huge and has a lot of gimmicks and detail.

At TCracker. Yes I'd pay for a 200-250 Shockwave. He could come with maybe a control board computer type screen. I wouldn't even care if it was made outta cardboard! It would make for a cool display non the less

See that's just it Soundwave is not a single character released at that price, you also get Laserbeak. Personally I say scrap the electronics. Sure their cool at first but how many here really needs them for the figure to feel complete or to display???

I'd prefer MP Shockwave be under $200. He should be about Soundwave to MP10 height so I wouldn't want a bunch if accessories driving his price over 200. Mind you I can't think of many accessories I'd want to come with anyway. I suppose a mini-me gun would be cool or I suppose a cardboard space-bridge would be a relatively inexpensive add-on they could include, although maybe not now considering how big it'd have to be.

(oh and definitely no electronics, well maybe a light in his gun mode barrel if it doesn't get in the much)

How about an in scale Space Bridge accessory that he can interact with? Is that worth 200-250 benjamins?

To answer an earlier question, yes I'd pick up a $200 Shockwave...at $250 I probably would, but depending on the accessories or features I may or may not like it as much as I would at $200.

As for accessories...yes on the mini-Shockwave gun of himself to hold. Beyond that, I can't think of any accessories that fit Shockwave exclusively either, so maybe throw in stuff we didn't get elsewhere, like a mini-Reflector camera that can be held by the Seekers (and others)? Maybe a small handheld version of one of those Regenesis devices from Spotlight Shockwave?

I'd rather they didn't. It might be cool, but it's not cool enough to tack on another $50-100.

I wouldn't be wild about the price, but I'd be in to the accessory and almost definitely buy it (assuming a quality in line with other recent MPs). I will say there's a huge psychological difference between $199 and $250.
