Just accept the Cassettes and numbers as fact at this point.

I would guess the cassettes would be MP15 A & B or some other letters, i think Bots as even numbers and Cons as odd should stay. Mind you i dont think the cassette packs should take a full MP number slot, they should be MP13 Minion packs imo.

And again, boo!!! at Galvatron if it happens. V2 Megs or Shockwave first!

Well, if Takara versions of Skywarp & Thundercracker done with the new MP-11 mold aren't happening, guess that means I'm skipping MP-11 altogether. I usually order 2 of every MP, but there's no point investing in 1 if the other 2 aren't coming. It's too bad, I was really looking forward to see what Takara would do with those ones.

In regards to numbering the Cassettes; I can see it NOT being A and B for two reasons.

1. These sets will include at least one unique mould to the set thus not being a repaint. To date only repaints get the special letter after the number.

2. As of MP-10 the face of MP's has changed. Any old preconceived notion we have on this series is dead. Sunstorm puts a whole in this theory but I will counter with... "I bet Smokescrean and Bluestreak will not be MP-17 S and B"


I hear what people are saying about Galvatron and how Megs V2.0 should come first but looking at things recently there is are some big season 3 Autobots happening. Hot Rod/Rodimus, the upcoming Ultra Magnus, we need a Villian for these guys. I would also suspect that the engineering involved for Megs v2.0 is a great deal more involved than Galvatron.

 

Yeah i hear what you're saying...i've already got MP-11 which is why i'm desperate for TT to release his other two brothers in order to complete the set.Just wouldn't make sense for them not to do TC and SW imo?!

It's a win win for me. We just need a Decepticon leader period. An I agree with transbot, in that I'm sure Meg's engineering needs time to equal the perfection that it wil be once completed.

 

And this is already going exactly how I feared it would with the 'reborn' Masterpiece line: no rhyme or reason to who will and won't get figures. Skywarp & Thundercracker repaints should be a given, but if these rumors are true, it appears Takara will be pulling a Hasbro in way of not bothering to maintain any sense of consistency or 'completion'. Collector wise, that could spell a LOT of headaches for future releases... or at least what we assume will/should be future releases.

 

Before anyone gets too down about no TT MP11 SW & TC, I'm sure they'll eventually release them. Really, how could they not? Such simple and straight forward repaints. But Hasbro may have wanted to do the same so maybe Hasbro will release them, then a year or two later, when TT can fit them into their lineup, they'll do them.

For those without patience, it will be a tough time. But I see no logical reason that they wouldnt come eventually.

 

I would, had TCracker not merely said 'close' in regards MP tape 2 packs. That, to me anyway, doesn't scream fact so much as possibility.

And yes things do change, we saw that with the Soundwave and Sideswipe, right out of left field, reveals.

15A,B/ 15,16... The only thing I really care about is getting these things out ASAP and having a full MP 84-85/6 display in my home.
