My Generations Thundercracker has no silver paint on his face, and a big ol' swath of black around his eyes, making him look like he's wearing a domino mask.

Actually makes him look cooler, to be honest.

Never had any QC issues, other than sloppy paint apps on my Generations Wheeljack.

OK this is just this last Quarter year or so !!!

DOTM Cyberverse Roller = Split ankle where the pin was hammered in with to much force
DOTM Cyberfire Bumblebee = two left upper arms
DOTM Scanning Ratchet = Broken thumb and two right upper arms
Generations Thundercracker = Split foot and split tail stabilizer
    Generation Kup = Bent Gun
Perceptor = Floppy backpack hinge (Yes I know that is partly a design flaw)
DOTM Voyager Optimus (repaint) everytime I transform him his foot falls off
DOTM Skyhammer's gun was not assembled correctly
DOTM Clear Jazz - covered in scratches (very deep ones too)
DOTM Leader Bumblebee - busted kneed post so the leg is half falling off - so that fella went back to the shop toot sweet.
DOTM Laserbeaks guns fails to work properly - the repaint optimus version works fine though.

I'm sure there's loads more than that it's just I forgot a lot of them... Floppy joints and ratchets and incosistant sizes for the Mechtech ports and posts that don't really work are quite common over all though.

They show persistent poor design though especially week backpack design and parts not moving across each other during Transformation properly - like DOTM Bumblebee's backpack kibble or Mudflap & Skids body parts in general just show very week design.

Animated toys had a lot of flaws too but I find i'm more forgiving of them flaws as they were learning how to make them - they should no how to make Movie toys by now - they have made enough Bumblebee's by now but the latest one is not the strongest one by a long shot.

I don't count stress marks as flaws as they are like loose ball joints or loose panels fixed with a screw driver they are so common I just fix it and forget about it with out moaning about it as big error - the errors I do moan about are the ones I can't easily fix myself.

Using the automorph is what breaks it if you move the bars before the foot is a lot less likely to break.

Mine was manufactured so that the pin was wonky so when you folded the vehicle mode gun up it only folded over at a 30 degree angle rather than straight like it should do I bought a replacement luckily before I took the other one back as the other one I bought had no paint on the head.

My animated black rodimus, right out of the sealed box, had a small scratch on his purple chest flames, and a chip off of his chin.

You might be able to repaint the chipped chin with dribbles of paint or resin glue. Hard to fix the paint if the colour is a rare one though.

Again knackered paint is so common I didn't even include my Guzzle's chest was covered in paint chips I just fixed it and forgot it had an issue.

I plan to buy some floor polish soon so I can tighten up some of my Powercore Combiners joints in a good way - Varnish is OK for somethings but I think the polish is better for PCC ports and loose knees in super mode etc..

I'm more irritated by the propensity to not paint wheel hubs than I am many of the loose joint issues.
I do get vexed by the them persistently miss-assembling things though even on the repaints. I.e ROTF Reverb, NEST Ratchet, or Transformers 2007 Leader Optimus Prime all of them are wrong in one way or another an all of them are 'still wrong' on their repaints too.

The PCC Spa- er, Over-Run I got on Black Friday has one of his thigh swivels so tight it won't move at all, meaning he's incapable of achieving his combined mode. Not too bummed- I already have Universe Dragstrip, and the Stunticon limbs are going to Crankcase.

Also, the right shoulder on my PCC Caliburst was extremely tight, until two small cracks formed in it.

The worst issues for me have been big chunks of flash left on the figures. In particular I got Generations Scourge and had to go over him with a nail file to get several parts to actually fit, his gun in particular would not go into his hand at first because of all the flash. Otherwise I've had figures that were chipped and scuffed out of the box which seems like they were used or something. Just seems odd that something could be so damaged just in assembly or shipping.

I haven't had any real expierences with bad quality control issues. I do know of a few guys that had horrible issues with toys, especially during animated.

I had to return my first Samurai Prowl when it turned out the helmet bar was put in the wrong way, so the samurai helmet could never come down over the head. Exchanged him the next day and got one correctly assembled.

The PCC drones in the 5-Packs were an irritance to me. Barring Grimstone, I don't think there was a single pack where one drone didn't fall off on a whim, or failed completely in its automorph gimmick.

I suppose it's fortunate I dislike displaying the PCCs in Gestalt form due to the rather goofy arms most drones make...

    Just remembered another flaw...

My DOTM Jolt had two screws missing in one side foot - so I had to borrow one on one side and swap it to the other the other screws were not essential though so it make little real difference to how he works but it is a bit sloppy to ship something with 2/3rds of the screws in the foot missing.

My RiD Heavy Load came with his extending combination arm snapped off. I probably should have exchanged it, but he still works perfectly as Landfill's arms and, honestly, that's by far my favorite configuration so it all works out okay.

Second place would be my first Energon um... Superion Maximus main guy (totally blanking on the name). Two of his combiner plugs broke off on my first version so I took him back and got one that was fully functional.
