    Skystalker for me.

I'm into the Human Alliance Basics now which I think are the true scouts from DOTM but I don't have a favorite yet.

Lately, I've found myself wanting PCC Heavytread. No luck yet.

personally i think energon and cybertron had the best scouts, then beast wars, then rotf and hunt.

energon's scouts were easily the highlight of the toyline. the deluxes, except for the decepticons, didn't even come CLOSE to being as cool as the scouts.

while cybertron did have it's share of bad toy designs in scouts, mainly Backstop, but backstop to me is still cool, it might suffer from being designed around the gimmick, but these days it's design has grown on me, it's such a unique design.

    also BUTT HAND! :lol

but it also had Ransack, one of my favorite transformers, EVER! especially the GT version, it's very possible, and it's just a fun little toy, that's easy to transform in minutes.

beast wars, while at first i did not like the basic/scouts of beast wars, they have grown on me, but it was mainly due to the automatic transforming gimmick that took it down for me.

but you know what? these days i think it was a pretty neat innovation to try. did it succeed? no. but they still tried it! and they got plenty of neat designs out of it! favorites include, Airazor, Power Pinch, Snarl, nightglider, and spitter. *especially the RID version*

ROTF/HUNT, has some great designs, it was nice to see them attempt to do basics again. how ever it is also sad to see them go! :(

Skystalker/Sunspot (black/white versions of the same mold but both decepticons) are really nice.

I also wanna throw Trenchmouth/Reverb/Backfire out there. Can be found really cheap and it scales perfectly in alt mode with deluxe cars (unlike the junkions or arcee, who would be too big).

Brimstone/Chopsaw is another cool motorcycle that scales this way, but the bot mode is very bayformery and weird. The Trenchmouth mold can ride the Brimstone mold (but not vice versa), though. Pretty cool bot mode, although his head isn't really my cup of tea.

Honestly nearly all the scouts from the last year or two have been pretty cool, as well as quite a few of the PCC commanders (not so much as combiners, mind you). I've got Huffer, Grimstone, Heavytread and Leadfoot and really dig them all. Even the ones that suck generally have nice Alt modes (like Slapdash or the aforementioned Brimstone).

I don't really like breacher at all because he just to fiddely and he just has to many parts that get in the way while your messing with him

HFTD Brimstone and DOTM Backfire are pretty neat (especially Backfires weapon mode which i think as being a plasma cannon)

I quite like PCC Steamhammer HA Basic Icepick and HFTD Hubcap's pretty good too.

Do you just mean recent ones or the older 'Basic' ones too "Mitch FIN Keith"?

If you mean Older figures there's plenty of really great "Basics" like the Transmetal 2 ones. Or even some of the Cybertron & Energon ones.

Not counting Cyberverse Commanders, I say the top three Scout figures are (in order) Windcharger, Breacher, and Skystalker.

I love ROTF Knock Out. He has a bit of kibble, but he also has quite a bit of charm.

    If this guys counts I have a soft spot for him ;

Also perhaps people forget how good the Energon Combiner limbs are as individual toys when they spend so much time combined.
