And when/if I recieve, just fyi to anyone interested in purchasing a set but hesitant to go through KOToys, ordered an extra set. Will likely put up for trade (trade only), in case anyone here interested and has anything I need off my want list. Also ordered a few extra weapon sets which I kinda plan on keeping for myself but if deal is good enough might part with as well. Won't trade until I have in hand and able to show whomever pics confirming I have in hand. But you can still hit me up if interested. You'd have to PM me. Plan on valuing the set at same price purchased. No intent to scalp or make money off it.
Basically ordered two sets. Was gonna keep second set for possible custom dinobot set at some point once all of em were released, but sounds like they plan on doing a recolored dino set at some point so no real need to keep.

The starting prices are a big clue.

 

On a related note I put an order in over a week ago for two other items, and no word yet whether they shipped or not. I've never dealt with them before either. But I have read all the feedback.

Not sure what to think, I also selected the slow ship method. I didn't mind waiting a month for it to arrive as long as it was actually sent out. The site says 3 to 5 days to ship. So, it should be on it's way. And if so, they haven't emailed me yet. Marked it on my calender in case I need Paypal to save the day.

I planned to get the cassettes late on, and if this goes sour I will have to get them somewhere else when I'm ready.

 

To the people that got their hands on these, what do you think of them? Are they worth the money?

 

Some of the joints on mine are a little loose, but all in all the plastic seems pretty solid

 

I wasn't impressed.
On mine, Zaur 's rear left leg is the wrong part: it is the same as his right front leg which is thinner (and is pointing the wrong way). Doesn't hurt transformation but looks weird.

Dial was fine, except that mine came with another set of Zaur's weapons.

Sent an e-mail to 'Kate' at KOToys, wonder if they are willing and able to help me out. And if not... I'll take it to Paypal's resolution center...

 

I still do not have this KO version,wondering how is the quality since some of you have purchase it?

 

My set is pretty good. Dial has some stress marks which will boil out easily enough, and they both have the odd loose joint here or there.

I've had and sold the real ones and I dare say these or almost indistinguishable. Nothing different is standing out from memory other on the toy itself.

On the weapons however, the originals were cast in the same colour as the tape they came with, and only the front/outside was chromoed, ie if you look on the back of the weapon, Dials would be green and Zaur's would be blue. The KOs are chromed completely.

 

Hey, I just wanted to put things out there bc I've been getting a lot of PMs for KOs.

For my latest shipment, I have what I want ordered, but I literally haven't seen Mike online in days.

I have what I want ordered, and it's pretty big, and with bulk orders you can normally work out a deal to receive a percentage off, which, in turn, I can give to people who go in on orders with me, so, without seeing him online, I can't get an exact price of items yet.

So, sorry to anyone it's inconvenienced. I'm just going to shoot him an email in a bit, to see if that gets a response.

 

Just got an email from them, with an order confirmation of an order I placed 10 days ago...So yeah...might still be hope for those of you who haven't gotten anything yet.

 

Not a big enough one, as one of the auctions has been bid up to $500 already...

Might aswell open your claim now. A friend of mine placed her order on oct4th and still hasent got shipping information, she tried their live chat again today and mike changed his status from online to away after she sent him a msg and then ignored her. She opened a claim against them now

 

Damn.....KO toys strike again. LOL

 

I seriously hope nobody is surprised by now.

I've got a few days left to make the claim, and I sent a nicely worded e-mail to explain the issues I have. I'll give them a chance to get back to me... And if not, I'll pursue the claim with extreme prejudice.

 

She said she emailed them and got no response, at least in the live chat they can lie directly to you lol
