I do not encounter all of the problems and some of them are what I found from this site and other sites. Hope this can be a QC checklist for your masterpiece. 1. Stressmark appears on the Blue Hinge when the metal pin is hammered in. ![]() ![]() 2. The antenna on 1 ear is bend (look like the one shown in TF movie before he turned grey) ![]() ![]() ![]() 3. His index finger is very easy to pop out from the knickle whenever prime holds his gun. The design of knuckle is quite dedicate. Ensure there is no stressmark/broken part on knickle which holds the index finger. 4. In Truck Mode, both legs cannot close tightly. 5. In Truck Mode, if both the legs can be closed tightly after appling excessive force. The side oil tanks will then fail to secure to the female connectors of the waist. ![]() ![]() 6. Stressmark on the hinges holding the chest windows. ![]() 7. The rubber tyres do not seem to cover the inner wheel rim at all. ![]() ![]() 8. The chest windows cannot be closed firmly, leaving gap. 9. Misaligment of chest windows. 10. Paint misalignment and paint chip. ![]() ![]() 11. Chrome at the Front Bumper is cut inappropriately ![]() 12. Loose Shoulder Arm connector http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_jTbyivGS4 Besides, I also notice that there is this letter "L" on the right hand and letter "R" on the left hand. Is it supposed ot be like that? 13. Wrong Rear Transparent Lights (at the Feet). ![]() The correct one should be: ![]() |

Mine only having stressmark on the blue hinge and the bended antenna. The rest is fine for me. I will not ask for refund or exchange as they are minor for me. However, my dcision of getting the 2nd unit of MP10 is on hold. |

The stress marks I'll just keep an eye on. Jet Fair sweatshop in China produces Hasbro's TransformersIt's not worth shipping back to Japan just to take another chance on the figure. To be honest it could be worse. |

I just hope that this thread does not provide an indicative quality of MP10. As mentioned I have inspected many of other owner's MP10 and they are still okay. Do not want this to turn onto a panic thread. ![]() So it begins |

Though none of these issues appear to be major deal breakers (like with MP-09), I'll still hold out for the second run or the Hasbro release. ![]() For President 2016: Punishment and enslavement we can believe in. |

My take here if you have exchanged your MP10 and the quality is still dodgy, then it is an overall TT issue. If your exchange unit solves all your issues, then you probably got a lemon. ![]() So it begins |

Unlike MP09, I am not so panick and pissed off with this piece as the defects are minimal to me (as it appears to many of us) which I do not think is justifiable for an exchange. I visualise if I bring my unit for exchange based on: 1. Bended antenna 2. 1 line of single stressmark on the blue hinge 3. Cut off piece on the bumper Do you think the above reason justifiable for exchange? | |

Most problems reported here other than the bent antenna seem really minor. The fuel tanks not clipping in when when the legs are together seems like a minor design issue or perhaps has something to do with how the toy was assembled at the factory. Again, not a major concern. It isn't all that noticeable and plugged in or not, doesn't affect how the truck mode looks. There are barely visible stress marks on the chest windows on my figure. So minor that I wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't brought up here. I don't know if the figure came with them or if I caused it. If opening the chest in bot mode is what's causing it then perhaps transforming the figure halfway back to truck mode before opening them might prevent further stressing of the hinge. I don't think it's something to be too concerned about. Paint chipping and rubbing on the rib area is all part of wear and tear due to the transformation. No real way around it and again, really minor unless you go looking for it. Yes, the bent antenna is unfortunate. Try exchanging it if possible but the other issues shouldn't prevent you or anyone from enjoying the otherwise excellent figure. No mass produced toy is going to come off the production line absolutely perfect and no toy is going to be in pristine condition forever unless you plan on never playing or transforming it. |
