What are you guys seeing for Imaginext at your TJ Maxx stores? I am looking for a set that is an orange skeleton with and orange skeleton horse.

 

Older ones. I think the one he mentions was a Wheeljack/Shockwave 2-pack.

The last place I saw AoE Construct Bots for cheap was the Target clearance sale ($5 for the dinos). Not sure if they'd still be around, though.

 

Is it just my TJ Maxx or have they really dried up in terms of action figures lately?

 

That always happens post-Christmas. We'll get nothing till late Spring.

Just picked up an AOE Construct-Bots Hound for $9.99 at Ross. The large box version, not the Dino Rider version.

 

My Ross did not have a single action figure. It is what it is. I wasn't there for that, anyway.

 

I feel like they were dry all of 2014.   I'm not holding my breath for 2015!  

 

All my local ones had were the construct bots. All year long....

Stopped off at a Ross today. Saw a fair number of constructabots. Man, how many of those did they make??

Also saw some 5 POA Spider-man 2 figures, Green Goblin and Electro. What a waste of plastic those are...

 

It might feel that way, but looking back, it's been a good year (not amazing, but not as horrible as you guys make it sound) for discount stores for me. I got 3 Generations Voyagers for $9.99 each, a Voyager Predaking and a Voyager Prime for $10.99 each, 5 hard to find Marvel Legends (think RTS bots which were never seen anywhere except the discount stores and were going for crazy money before they showed up) for around 6 bucks each (Marvel Legends are $20 MSRP), and some LEGO and Mega Blocks sets. And those are just the ones I can recall from the top of my head, there might be a few that I missed.

Maybe my standards are just not as demanding as you guys.

 

Saw 2 Blitzwings for $12.99 at a Tuesday Morning yesterday. So some are still out there in various places.

 

Mine has had no other transformers related things besides the Construct a Bots. Nothing more sadly. No Marvel figures either  

 

Any Hero Masher Transformers sightings at discount stores yet?

 

Things are really dead around my area. I went into a Ross yesterday, found only a few AOE Construct bots and a Dino-sparker thing. They've actually minimized their toy section, significantly smaller than it was at pre-Christmas time.

Happy to of gotten a Springer during Christmas though, wish I could've snagged a Whirl as well.

I hope to find Blitzwing at Ross. It's nice to see that there has been some sightings at Ross and TJM.

 

I saw a lone FOC Voyager Class SoundBlaster at dd's Discounts and a Construct Bots Scorn. Other than that I see a lot of Mega Bloks Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed sets at Ross.

 

Honestly, I saw so few Whirls and DD in IL during the Xmas season, it wasn't worth the trouble of searching and driving. It's one thing to find stuff every other store; it's another to find stuff every 5 or 6 stores!   My advice is to just bite the bullet and pay a little extra to order him online. (Unless you're just conveniently close to Ross and don't mind stopping by a lot).
