which our 4-year-old has basically taken, despite getting his own Bumblebee. thankfully my kids have me to help police up parts that otherwise would get lost.

My TJ Maxx only just got Overlord in today. So they're still filtering into some stores.

 

Sweet, I'll be on the prowl again if snowmageddon passes soon. We don't deal with snow very well up here. Luckily I still have a couple weeks till his birthday.

I'm gonna swing by my TJMaxx. For $15, I will make room for Overlord on my shelf.

 

I just found one at Family Dollar and while the price was marked $17 it rang up 50% off so only $8.50 YMMV

 

I wonder how Overlord ended up so overproduced. I know he was a tail of the line figure but he wasn't impossible to get at retail and Ollie's got in a ton of them I'd say each store got atleast 20 of him if not more, yet somehow there's still left overs to end up at tj Maxx too. I just saw 4 of them at the Tridelphia WV TJ Maxx yesterday. Today I found a single Bumblebee set T the Zanesville OH store

 

A lot of areas never got stock of anything past Black Shadow. Unfortunately Overlord is likely just another victim of retailers not doing their job.

 

Meanwhile, I never saw Optimal Optimus in the wild.

 

Well, it hasn't been nearly as long since Optimal came out as Overlord. Overlord was just as rare this time last year.

 

Just picked up Overlord at Marshalls this afternoon for $13. Thanks for the heads-up.

Saw optimal a few times at at least 2 Targets. Though I passed on him.

 

I don't think he was overproduced at all. What happened was the herd mentality of the fandom. We were halfway through POTP when he started showing up at Ollies so Titans Return was old news and therefore crap. The same thing happened to Trypticon.

 

This was my area. I never saw Overlord until he hit in mass 45 strong at every Ollies I went to. And now it seems Ollies had so many they sold their remaining stock to TJ Marshalls.

 

Evolution Optimal Optimus is totally showing up at Ollie's in the U.S. this summer, isn't he?

 

I would not be surprised to see Predaking either which I am hoping for. I want him but 50 bucks for him is very tempting.

 

I will immediately buy him for $50.

 

Overlord did hit some Walmarts down here in southern Oklahoma, but it was the revised case that also included Sixshot (who finally appeared locally, about eight months late). Are people finding Overlord at Marshalls in addition to TJ Maxx? I know they are owned by the same corporate family, but seem to get different stock sometimes. Maybe someone will find a treasure trove of Titans Return deluxe wave 5 soon and they will be all over the place like Overlord is now.
