I decided to cancel my pre-order for the case of FOC deluxes once Assaulter dropped. There's a good chance I'll be able to pick out what I want from HTS at a cheaper price anyway. Barring any surprises, this should be my only major BBTS purchase for the month.

Don't know why I thought Assaulter was going to drop along with everything else at the end of the month. I guess it's Ok that it hit now, just wasn't expecting it.

 

Yeah, got mine in at 171 for collectors grade. 160 woulda been nice but considering it went up to 185 I'm still pleased.

I have a feeling this very well may end being the most popular masterpiece ever.

It is interesting that in light of the delay news, it sold out.

 

It makes sense though, having to pay for it around Christmas is not easy for ppl buying for themselves. Everyone is spending their money on presents for over ppl in December, and its not like people who aren't directly into collecting themselves even know about BBTS. Delaying it to January likely means a lot of ppl that were holding out now know they can afford it after having a month of January paychecks under their belts to make up for Xmas.

BBTS opened more pre-orders for MP Soundwave but they upped the price again from $184.99 to $199.99 now. Glad I have one locked in when he was $159.99.

 

$199.99 now? Well I'm out. I'm either looking for a better deal on eBay, etc. Or I'm waiting for a potential Hasbro version.

They could be getting them from a different distributor who is charging them more, hence the price going up on their end as well.

 

I'd like to believe that's true - but they're just taking advantage of the demand. If no one bites at $200, they'll drop that price.

ships... you can also email the owner and ask him to group multiple items for you to save on shipping if you place them in separate orders. I don't want to get this thread off topic... but I find them a great alternative to BBTS.

 

Preorders have gone up for single Dark Energon figures for those that want them but don't want a full set.

Since the preorder amounts for the Deluxe and Voyager sets shrank from 1000+ to 300+ or so a little while back, I wonder if this is where the extra preorder stock essentially went to?

 

I wonder how long it will take for Dark Energon Bee to go on clearance for six bucks.
