If BBTS gets told by people on here whenever we bitch, maybe you can point this to their direction. Going to try this without the bitching this time to see how they respond. Or if they respond.

If your going to ask me why I don't contact them directly, it is because they tend to give the wrong answer both on e-mail and in person as was with the Prowl with the coin issue already showed.

Anyone ever receive card-backed Transformers from BBTS with no glue on the backs? I keep saving the cardbacks, so this is... convenient... but so strange. The figures are complete AFAIK, just that they weren't attached to their cards.

 

^??So what is holding them on? Just tape along the sides/ back?

 

I bought an FOC Ultra Magnus...complete with its original bubble and card. It was discounted, though.

They're finally selling that Asian convention-exclusive MP Grimlock on its own (instead of being bundled with that Jetfire). Still a hard swallow at $300 though. I'll wait for the upcoming $200 reissue instead.

 

I think is mostly the fans wanting a bigger MP grimmmy, but there wont be no such thing.

why would Tak/tommy put out a new mould to go with these 3p products. its just nonsense to me made by raving fans.

That happened to me with my last shipment with my FOC figures. Half of them arrived with their cardbacks coming off.

 

I saw a TON of the Starscream/Magnus/etc wave at local Walmarts where the cards were barely glued on. Probly a factory issue for the whole wave.

 

Related to poor packaging, I bought a vintage G1 Onslaugh MIB from BBTS and they bent the flag down to stuff it into a tight bag.

 

That sucks. You'd hope a store like BBTS that caters to collectors would avoid doing something like this.

 

I recently got DOTM Arcee (The Takara exclusive one) and the card wasn't glued at all. There was no evidence it was ever glued. It was taped though. And it looked exactly like factory tape they use. So... My only guess is some of the DOTM Deluxes in this case weren't glued at all and taped instead? Doesn't make much sense...

Anyone else get DOTM Arcee? (The Chromia repaint)
