In a somewhat inebriated state late last night I ordered the Dark Energon voyager PRID Optimus on the spring sale. Can't decide if that was an enlightened drunk decision or a stupid one.

Decided to preorder the Blitzwing/Springer set. Fuck retail. Also ordered IDW Megs and BB, as well as Trailcutter.

 

You will find them at retail right after they become in stock and they will be cheaper. lol. Its always how it works for me, I only order normal release figures if the price is really good or something popular that is shortpacked.

 

Yeah, but I'll just stop looking at retail now and not worry. I hadn't looked at retail for anything in forever until Springer, and now I won't have to look again.

 

That's exactly the point for me. If I can save 10-20 dollars on gas from driving around looking for stuff then I don't mind spending 6-9 extra dollars on a figure I want. It saves me money no matter how I factor it. I don't think people realize just how much gas they waste driving around shopping.

 

For me im literally 2 miles from a Walmart and maybe 5-7 from Target, and I have to pass 2 Walmarts on my way home from work. So it works out well to stop by on occasion or when out shopping anyways, I dont go by 5 times a week or anything. I actually had springer and blitzwing preordered myself because it was a good price but found them in store before they came in stock the first time.

Same here. It also gave me the incentive to go ahead and ship my POL (it's been growing for over a year now, and I was getting nervous about cancellations...)

 

Just placed an order for Sandstorm and the IDW 4-Pack (Trailcutter, Bumblebee, Orion Pax and Megatron).

I just shipped mine and it was since last Sept.

Then it sat for 5 days before shipping..............

Saves a lot of $$$ holding out and shipping in one batch

Yeah... There were times when I wanted to ship it, but knew something else was about to come out, so I took a chance and waited it out. Now with Fort Max in there and the Masterpieces from the last year, I NEED to ship it!  

 

Anyone else have the Blight, Rippersnapper and Windrazor legends ship? It says preorder on the page, but they processed my order pretty much right when I placed it Saturday ane they hit the POL Sunday.
