Well, if it's for more than one adult, you can use more than one card; if it's for you and a Kid your kid can get it first. This really doesn't change my feelings on this at all, you're still getting more than most people, and your second figures are still the cause of someone else having to wait weeks to get their first.....

These are the main people I take issue with, this is just selfish. If I honestly have no problem with other people having to wait up to three weeks longer to get something they pre-ordered just like me because I want to be able to display both modes at the same time, I am a selfish person by definition.

That said, it's still BBTS's fault for even allowing it. Collectors can WANT to order as many as they want, it's the store's choice whether or not they will allow it. In this case, I believe they should not allow it unless they know they'll have enough stock to actually fulfill people's orders.

 

Not trying to start anything here, but honestly, your sense of self-entitlement is ridiculous. You think because YOU want it, the world should stop for you. They ordered before you, plain and simple. They can order however many are allowed. Just because you were a day late gives no reason for you to get what YOU want.

 

This is how it should be. First come, first served.

When I saw that the BH Cyberverse Abominus wave hit my PoL, my first thought was "wow, excellent, didn't expect those this quickly!" My second thought was "when I go to post about the Abominus figures hitting my PoL, I sure hope there's some high-quality massive-sense-of-entitlement butthurt in the BBTS thread." Thanks for not letting me down, folks.

I'm actually surprised and very happy they had Abominus singles available for ordering; an unexpected cherry on top of my in-warehouse PoL sundae. I don't think I get to combine shipping on them, but oh well; it's more than worth the time I'd otherwise spend combing shelves at WalMart and Target. Now it's time for roast chicken and Game of Thrones, and a great day will come to an end!

Anywho... Speaking of the Abominus pieces, I went ahead and ordered the rest of the limbs. Sinnertwin almost became a problem to find. (I got lucky, because I sat on ass) Finally found him by chance. Hun-Grr was nothing short of a miracle, I happened to find him by stumbling on a K-Mart that isn't too well traveled. One I haven't been to in months.

Plus, with the other limbs only being 2 each per case and most stores are still restocking the first and second waves, it just became much cheaper to order them and save time and gas. And patience. No price on patience, people.

 

hmm..I wonder what that means then if you chose the order for both figs. I had received the email that they had come into my POL and chose to ship the next day, but could it be that only the Springer shipment had arrived and not the Blitzwing? or the opposite? Guess that would cause a delay to ship out..

If that was the case though they shouldnt send an email if your order cannot filled IMO

 

If you ordered both via the order page for both, then you will not receive an email notification unless both are in stock and allotted to your order.


And to Rotoraptor, please catch up to reality and accept the fact that because you did not order sooner you will have to wait for your toy. Nature of the beast, it is.

 

Cool that the CV Abominus figs are out. I am perplexed by the set of 4 though. The pictures show Twinstrike, Blight, Rippersnapper, and Hun-grr (no Windrazor). However, the word listing for the set includes Twinstrike, Blight, Rippersnapper, and Windrazor (no Hun-grr). I nabbed the last of the singles for Blight, Rippersnapper, and Windrazor along a set of 4 just in case; I figure I can just drop something once BBTS confirms what's actually in the set of 4 (I can't find Hun-grr at retail for the life of me).

@ Rotoraptor: What exactly gives you the right to jump ahead of the line and get toys ahead of those who preordered earlier than you? I mean, really.

No, sounds like you're actually getting yours - did you order on 2/27? At any rate, Springer and Blitzwing are packed together. They're a wave. So if they have one, they have the other barring a big interest deficit on the ordering side, which seems unlikely especially for die-harders placing on the first day.

 

That's pretty cool they are telling people about Metroplex pre-orders ahead of time and giving you the option to switch. I applaud them for that. However, I still find myself miffed that there is literally no timetable other than "a couple of weeks" for those of us who are on the wait list for Springer/Blitzwing.

I don't know that I would be so upset if it wasn't Springer involved
