For that matter - they could make WFC Trypticon a Deluxe, so he'd be in scale with the CVL figs...

I'd rather see Trypticon, Omega Supreme and Metroplex (even Scorpinok) as base sets like the Ark.

All we need to see now is Mirage and Wheeljack in this scale and we'll have the entire main cast (besides Brains and Wheelie) in cyberverse size!

I found Shockwave at my local Target this week. His robot mode is dead on awesome, but his alt mode is very fiddly and doesn't peg together well at all. The trailer part becomes more of a hassle to get one if you don't get the alt mode put together just right.

So with the DOTM toys apparently petering out, anyone have closing thoughts on the Cyberverse subline?

IMO, Hasbro found a pretty good groove with this evolution of the Legends size class - they've come a long way since LoC and the first movie, and I'm glad the concept is continuing into the Prime toyline. Things I've particularly liked:
    - Getting the whole main movie cast in a reasonable amount of shelf space
    - Plenty of callbacks (Blackout) and homages (Powerglide)
    - Pricing such that I don't mind mold duplication for neat repaints
    - Bases and accessories
    - A vague (okay, large/small) sense of scale, Starscream aside

Picked up Flak and Roadbuster tonight (and posted to the sightings thread), leaving only four things left on my DOTM line purchase list:
    - Guzzle, no sign thereof
    - Hatchet, and I've seen Battlesteel Prime again, so his wave's out there
    - Shockwave
    - Lunar Ratchet, to be redubbed Countdown (see previous re. repaints)

Quick thoughts on the two I added to the desk - Flak is a decent little APC, and hey, elbows. He, Guzzle, and Powerglide can hang out. Roadbuster completes my Wreckers and, while mine's a little loose, looks awesome. Chainsaw goodness.

Definitely love this line of Legends class figures. The Commander toys have especially been impressive. Aside from Starscream (I just use his Deluxe toy as a stand-in), they really do look great in alt mode as far as scale goes!

I just need to pick up Shockwave (probably going to wait for the rumored Driller set), Soundwave, Dino, and Que to round out the main cast (aside from Wheelie and Brains; the Twins I won't even bother with even if they forgot to edit their vehicle scenes out of the movie). I might grab EZ/Legends Sideways just because I like the Audi R8 alt mode. The Megatron and Optimus Prime play sets along with the Ark would be great too, but aren't a huge priority to me.

I believe they're planning a post-DOTM toy line, a la Hunt For the Decepticons. Shockwave (with Driller) is rumored to be in the works, as is Commander Class Warpath (not a repaint of Guzzle but a brand new mold based on his concept art?). So Cyberverse isn't over with just yet. =)

Are you cyberverse fans talking mostly about the commander class?
I read a lot of praise for cyberverse in this thread, basically I agree if your talking about cyb. commanders but I don't see the love in the smaller cyberverse figs, look to generic.

Am i wrong in my opionion? I have a lot of the classics legends that came out & i love that line, but I don't get that feeling from the small cyber legends out now.

If I am wrong who is the very best of the legend (smaller) cyberverse.

I love Cyberverse and am very glad Prime is getting its own set. I wasn't a big fan of Legends before, but the ROTF/NEST/etc. Scouts got me into the smaller figures, and from there I was hooked. I've got almost all of the Cyberverse figures so far released.

primenemesis, my favorite Legion figure is Starscream, but of course I'm biased. I hope they make a Commander class version of movie Screamer at some point, but I'm not expecting it. Apart from SS I would say the best/my favorite Legion figure so far is Roadbuster, but I have very little negative to say about any of them.

I love the Cyberverse Wreckers I have, as well as my Legion Dreads. Crowbar is probably my favourite besides those really tight pegs that don't like to come out. Also, I wish they'd make some FOC Cyberverse toys. It's fully in the realm of possibility, and may also be our only way to get ALL of the Combaticons and still have them combine.

Well, there's always a Bombshock custom with transformable limbs...

Some of the PCC's work rather well with Cyberverse, particularly Bombshock and Steamhammer. They may be a slight bit larger, but when has scale been a huge issue? I usually use Prime as a reference for other figures, and he scales pretty well with these two sets.

Ratchet is a pretty great mold, he holds items well, has a simple but effective transformation, and has elbows. I can't recommend that Lunar Crawler set enough.

Starscream is also really fun, but he is bad at holding items that don't have VERY long pegs.

Flak has amazing detail, elbows, a good transformation, and a built-in weapon. His only drawback is he cannot extend his arms (they're stuck bent), which can be pretty major. I love his paint and headsculpt, by the way.

Roadbuster is pretty amazing, too. He looks good in armed car mode, and his chainsaw can stow under the car, or be deployed in a bunch of ways.

Crowbar is a very solid car-former. He's freakishly tall, has a relatively neat transformation, and has amazing leg articulation (ankles, ball jointed knees, thigh swivels). Plus his matte black color is incredibly good looking.

One down! Got me a Hatchet, and I really dig him. The undercarriage kibble is well-handled for the size of the figure, the transform is very different, and the robot mode is utterly unique. The gun drones are just a fantastic little bonus.

    Random desk-canon repurposing via bio:
    Dread Enforcer MOTORMASTER
The brawn to the brains of the other Dreads, Motormaster patterned his vehicle form after Megatron himself, using twin cyclone cannons and sheer brute strength to take out any obstacle that Crankcase, Crowbar, and Hatchet cannot get around.
