The G1 Constructicons are great toys..
The problem is with Crazy Devy parts the core bots still don't meet the Classics aesthetics.

So it's an add on kit that does 90% right (the gap between hook and haul is much worse with CD), but really doesn't fit wellw ith classics and doesn't fit well with G1 either.

I just pre-ordered at Toy Kingdom. I will see what the quality is like when I first get it and if it's good will pick up the rest. They have it for $77.90 US

If it is $77.90 at Robot Kingdom then it is going to be around $95-100 each at BBTS, TF Source. They always seem to be cheaper but you pay alot in shipping if in the US but who knows we'll see.

I just ordered 2 G2 Primes from TFSource and paid $9 shipping to Canada.

If BBTS shipps is cheaper, big if, it will be buy a couple of bucks and TFSources prices are less than BBTS for the most part.

RK is usually cheaper but they are in Hong Kong. PE reflector is 69.90 there and 89.99 at BBTS and TFSource but if you live outside say US/Canada/Australia then you end up paying the difference really in shipping.

If the pricing difference holds true then BBTS and TFSource per figure cost will be around 97.99 or so per robot. There are some exception like Thundershred who is the same across the board. We'll see.

Someone posted on another site that with shipping from RK 1 bot was the following.

TFATFCHER TFC Toys Hercules. Pre-order, release July 2011. 1 pcs $77.90
    Sub Total : $77.90
    Shipping Charge (Australia) : $48.99
    Insurance : $
    Grand Total : US$ 126.89

So basically it looks like Hercules is going to be more around $650-750 depending on shipping.

    Ouch.

Shipping to Minnesota was almost $16, total came to $93.77. If all six are the same price for figure and shipping from Robot Kingdom that total will be $562.62.

These numbers look sad and scary.

I have decided to pay for these and then get amnesia once I get them and just enjoy the glory of the Constructicons combined to form Devastator.

I paid $200 something for a masterpiece Rodimus.. I can most likely swing about $100/fig if spread out over a few months (please dont' drop all on day 1!). Especially with my lack of picking up old stuff and such after finding all I want. :)

I had originally said yes, but after really thinking about it, as nice as it is, it's going to just be too much $$ with shipping and everything else, so I am going to have to pass. I think I'll just pay $100 for the Crazydevy stuff and use it with my G1 guys as a display.

I just did the exact same thing and had the exact same thought process.

Damn, $94 for 1/6 of a figure. This is one seriously expensive hobby...

Ever hear of the superhero minature's game "heroclix"

There's much smaller pieces of plastic people are willing to spend almost $100 on..

I'm talking legends size stuff.. with no articulation.. and crappy paint jobs..

I bit the bullet and ordered No. 1. I usually wait until the video/pictorial reviews start getting posted on here, but it looks like a quality piece and I'm going with my gut. If the quality is piss poor, then I have no one to blame but myself for jumping the gun on it. I'm hoping they space these out enough.

I'll sell off some junkers, parts, and allocate my TF "budget" to this. I'm already building up a decent amount in Paypal funds that I can slide over.
