are they anywhere near the same size scale in vehicle mode

for that matter would it even be possible to mod heavy tread so that he could be attached to fansproject bruticus's left foot and be used to repalce brawl as fansproject bruticus's lower left tank leg?

I never saw those pics before but I am glad it can be done! I posted the same question as GENOZAUR in the customs discussion forum ages ago, but only just recieved my Heavytread this morning!

MY CUSTOMS: POWERCORE COMBINER - HEAVYTREAD TO UNIVERSE COMBINER / SCOUT - BRAWL

i removed the light-blue drone ports and Autobot logo of PCC HeavyTread. to attach PCC HeavyTread to that CrossFire-02 foot securely, i applied a few, thin layers of clear coating on that small, black peg infront of PCC HeavyTread, so that it'll adhere tightly once its inserted in any of those two holes in the foot;

i customized a 'universal connection point' with a junker ratchet joint than can be attached at PCC HeavyTread's rear;

the 'front knee part' off PCC HeavyTread has three 'locking points'; one at the bottom, and two on the sides. now, he's no longer PCC HeavyTread but Combaticon Scout - Brawl.

Wow that is a highly effective mod. My only recommendation would be a G1 paint job to match.

 

im am stoked someone pulled this off now if we could only get a proper vortex to boot.

still awesome work now if i can only find one of those guys for myself

 

I don't like the way it looks, but it's awesome that someone was able to make it a replacement part. Good job.

Wow, gotta take back what I said after seeing Nutahal's work.

 

If I had a Heavytread I'd try this. That looks like ROTF Leader Prime's elbow joint, right?

I guess the only downside is the energon plug won't lock into the socket anymore.

 

it could use a bit of work around the knee joint combiner socket port area when it comes to the parts used and theway those parts were built into the heavytread figure

personally i would have just salvage the entire upper body half with rotating combiner socket port from the spare tank limb blast off figure and also the rodds and notch line piece from tank blast offs feet
