RTS and Generations: Who else HASN'T found any of the new stuff?

Based on reported sightings, it seems like the new Generations and RTS deluxe figures have practically hit saturation at this point: This includes Kup, Scourge, Perceptor, G2 Optimus, Wreck-Gar (though he's evidently harder to find), and - to a lesser extent - Bumblebee. I'm not counting the RTS Voyagers or Scouts, or the last of the PCC toys either.

However, I personally have not even seen a hint of them. Any of them. Anywhere.

I've actually had pretty good luck hunting down Transformers in the past. I could go out once every couple of weeks... heck, sometimes once a MONTH... and still, for the most part, was able to track down everything I wanted. I did almost miss Universe Inferno, and there were a few end-of-the-line TF's, like the red Rampage and HA Mudflap, that I never once saw at retail, but for the most part there weren't many problems. Granted, sometimes it seemed like an eternity before I found an item, but in reality it was at the most around two weeks after the first reported sighting, usually sooner.

Now I find myself on the hunt multiple times a week. I've watched the TF stock run down in stores, only to be filled up the next day with more HFTD product. I've also watched the TF sections get smaller and smaller.

About online buying: I consider that to be a last resort. Besides, you kinda need to be right there when the listing begins or you're SOL. However, honestly the main reason I don't buy them online is because of quality control, or lack of it. I really prefer to check something out first hand before I purchase it, especially with the number of QC issues I've experienced in the past. Heck, I wouldn't mind shelling out $20 for a $12 figure if I could be guaranteed that it was something close to flawless. I don't, and can't, expect perfection, but some of the crap I've wound up with just seems inexcusable. Guess it's better to have a messed-up figure than no figure at all, but that brings me back to the original topic.

Anyway, I'm obviously becoming increasingly frustrated, and was just wondering: Is anyone else in the same boat?

    online store.

Its cheaper than real stores if you do it right. Both in cost and Time, so I highly recommend you do that. But right now, popular ones like Wreckgar and Scourge are already jumpping in price.

Excluding the Battle In Space pack (which seems to get around since it's a solid case and its own assortment) I've only seen RtS at Kohls and my Target who got in one case of Wave 1. I was lucky enough to find Scourge & Kup a couple of weeks ago at another Target, but not luck other than that.

As far as i can tell the new stuff isnt anywhere near saturation. Jazz and tracks seem to be plentiful at Kohls but the only new wave stuff i have seen is Kup (bought him).

BBTS is a great option because you can preorder the stuff (you don't pay till its in stock) and if you happen to find it then you can cancel the preorder. With the pile of loot option you even save on shipping!

This is probably a stupid question, but have you been checking Target? In my experience they're the only store getting anything new, and the only new figures hitting saturation are Bumblebee and G2 Prime.

This is what I started doing now. I got tired of driving all over the place every weekend, only to see the same stuff on the pegs. Tons of wave 1 and rotf tuner mudflap.

See, as someone who is used to this (United Kingdom) I just buy all of my Transformers online, although this area has been unusually lucky with RTS - my local TRU has Perceptor, Wreck-Gar, Bumblebee and G2 Prime. But Generations, and Universe before them? None. Zero. Not even Darkmount or Skullgrin, which the yanks are complaining about because they're shelf-warming.

And don't get me started on whole waves of HFTD - the only ones I've seen are Battle Blades Bumblebee, Long Haul, Hubcap, Brimstone and Insecticon. No Terradive, no Tomahawk, no Highbrow, nothing. *shakes angry fist*

I've only seen RTS at Walgreens, and even then that's only first wave. I have yet to see Scourge or Kup either.

Oh distributers, what did we ever do to you?

I've seen, or have had family and friends buy for me everything to date. The only figures I have not seen are JAZZ AND TRACKS(which worries me because they are a wave before the Wreckgar/Perceptor wave) and Grapple (which doesn't worry me cuz he is new)

I really want Jazz and Tracks so I hope they did not skip Toronto.

I haven't found any of the RTS figures at all, and so far I haven't seen any new Generations figures -- only found the wave containing Thunderwing, Skullgrin, and WFC Cliffjumper still on the shelves.

Yeah, Target's on the list, though I don't know why I bother checking them at all (yet I do... consistently).

Anymore, I very, VERY rarely find anything new there. Last year I probably found eighty percent of my TF's at Walmart, and some of those never even made it to the pegs/shelves at Target. Not entirely sure what's going on.

The only thing that has shown up here recently has been Kup and Scourge at such low numbers that most stores only got one or two of them.

I've been checking the sightings section since some fellow fans live closer to retailers than I do. If they are finding stuff I know it's a good time to hunt but if they aren't finding anything then I know hunting is just a waste of gas.

Although it does make you wonder just what in the hell has happened to distribution that so many places are seeing empty pegs.

I bought RTS Wreck Gar, G2 Prime and Perceptor at retail about a month and a half ago at Target but haven't seen them since. Plenty of Bumblebee's still on the shelves though. I also found a Generations Kup last week. No sign of Scourge, RTS legends, voyagers or scouts.

The thing that worries me is that the online retailers are all sold out as well.

I mean I preorder and should have everything I need except Solar Storm Grapple. I may have to just spend an inflated price to get him.

Online is the way to go, especially on very popular figs....I got everything except for windcharger....I got grapple and all the G1 legends from BBTS....so far all my figs have been great. I'm not to worry about paint jobs...doesn't really bothers...things break? Quick email, send it back new one comes...

Advice: if you know and really want a figure that everybody chasing, order online...

    Hello,

Here in the Netherlands and Belgium we didn't even get the Generations/RTS series. We only got HFTD and that was limited to wave one until now.

Hailstorm, Tuner skids and side arm Sideswipe are available at discount at the moment. They went straight into discount, so that isn't very promising for the rest of the line.

The newest figure I've seen in a store was a single Jazz at a Walgreens. I've heard sighting of Kup and Scourge nearby but never seen them. I've gotten pretty much everything else online at this point.

Here I've seen the BIS two pack, dozens of Tracks, Fallback, Jazz, and Mindset. One each of Bumblebee and G2 Prime. Kohls gets them a lot.
