Yeah i thought so, just wasnt sure and couldn't be bothered to look it up,
And why do i know absolutely nothing about these toyworld headmasters

Jizai make the best cleverness fun transformations, i absolutely enjoyed transforming the hell out of x1 powerglide, Im a fan, which i think is why Im leaning towards fansproject on tis one,

Sid - can you score f.p chromedome at All?

Nah, sorry, the ones I had went to my inner circle of mystery. I've still not actually had them in hand, but all accounted for.
I'm not a fan of Jizai designs. Hella impressive, and better than I can do, but they just don't quite work for me and I found his Powerglide design slightly more complex than it needed to be, the legs were especially OTT.

The silver two tone A-12 Blackbird proto (with Drone M-21) was also the basis of the Cobra Night Raven too but they were likely inspired by the black coloring of a normal SR-71 Blackbird.

If they do decide to make the top of Not-Silverbolt black perhaps they'd do a silvery blue G2 repaint and that might look more like the A-12 Proto. The drone we are getting as part of Uranos looks a bit like more modern Drones like "Darkstar" to me (that gets a eronious name check in the 2007 Transformers movie too)

Those wing edges are black as they are made or a different material and they can actually glow in flight at max speed as they heat so much from air friction. I like Blackbird's I understand they have one at Duxford Air Museum now (not that I know for sure as I can't afford to get in as it costs to much to get in).

I always wished they'd make a ROTF Jetfire repaint in that silver two tone colour too as it would look really nice with a Black Leader Optimus Prime or Buster Prime's Chrome and it's just rather pretty too.

It's a lot, I know. But it's the best price I've seen on ebay for a while (boxed versions have been going for £140 +), and while it's not MISB, I actually prefer that, as I know it wont be a duffer (of which I know exist). And if it is, I can return it, as it was described as working perfectly.

(^^ there goes a man trying to justify another big spend in a month that has also seen an MP soundwave pre-order...)

Yeah, I have a feeling that this will be one of those situations where patience would have paid off. We'll see. Anyway, I've done a bit of graphics work for my brothers business this week, so I have the cash.

Yeah the Jizai look is a bit of an acquired taste. His engineering is great, the look? Not so much. It's like FP's old stuff, but a step before that if you get my meaning.

To be fair Hardbone was fairly downplayed and ignored here on tfw. Everyone was all "but I've got the headrobots one, that's good enough. Make moar dinobots", but now they're all "OMFG it roxxorz, it'll look great with those new dinobots they're totally making!" :) p)
I really think it looks great, and is a good size. But, no space left for expansion. Already think I'll have to sell on Amazonicron to make space for Uranos in the cabinet (he totes deserves his own shelf).

:lol  ah the price we pay when we hesitate. Makes me even more thankful that me ma drove up to Stoke to fetch mine, the last one in the West Midlands apparently. It's a shame too, I'dve loved to have bought like ten of these things. Even back then I totally knew they'd be a bitch to get down the line :p

Just like the bottom of a space shuttle- special (ceramic I believe?) tiles designed to shrug off the massive heat caused by wind resistance and other frictional forces. I have to admit, it's a fetching look and, while all white would be my preference, I wouldn't be deterred by the white and black deco. Shit, at this point I won't be deterred by an all black deco, but I won't be best pleased either.

And yeah, an A12 deco movie Jetfire would be real nice with Buster/black Prime.

Yeah, it's probably one of the only times i've really regretted not picking something up (the other would be the dozens of Universe Magnus/skywarp two packs going for £15 in woolies).

Another way I'm going to justify this to myself is that MP Grimlock hails from the halcyon days of 2009/2010, when Hasbro quality and engineering were arguably at their peak. I have MP Lambor and HA Jazz stood next to each other on my shelf, and while both great, it's hard to argue that Jazz isn't of a higher manufacturing standard.

It reminds me of how many of us, myself included I believe, initially said "I'll wait til it's on offer" :lol  what fools we were! I love the one I have, he's been on my desk ready for idle mess-abouts since the day I got him (a wonderful christmas that was; MP Grimlock, RTS Jazz and Tracks...wowsers) and I don't think I'll ever let him go (unless Igear or someone made a voyager scaled copy that I could display with my classics. Then ol' MP Grimmy could make another UK fan happy).

I remember that! The good ol' days of Woolworths, oh how I miss that shop. Seems so silly that I didn't pick up loads of those two packs. They were stacked high, went for £7.50 at one point. Unbelievable.
And poor Woolworths. That Very crap have ruined them completely :(  I remember going to the Telford branch to pick up all my new tf goods. Most of Energon, no Cybertron weirdly, but the whole classics range. Man, picking up Bumblebee, Hot Rod, Mirage, Jetfire and Optimus Prime in one trip! Goddamn we were spoilt back then.

It makes me shed a single manly tear at the current state of affairs. Mostly shitty toys, seriously shitty distribution, not-so-great pricing....compared to back then (what, like 2006?) it really does feel like Transformers is at the bottom of the barrel.

Although not a positive for you at all, I now feel better about spending £110 on two arguably-MP grade Aerialbots :p

I had a thought if I bought something worth say £60.00 from an EU country and it was sent insured (and the true value marked on the insurance form) from a place like like Italy, Germany or Denmark do I get charged the same if I was buying from outside the EU.

As if you do what is the point of an EU Customs Union in the 1st place if you get the same fees for Tiapai as you do for Tripoli ?
