AA def on for us now, I will be driving down on my birthday though  

SDCC stuff always depends, last year they got a bit funny about it and didnt offer it out, but if it makes things any better we've got the wonderfest stuff already ordered and it kicks the shit out of most of the SDCC stuff.

 

Apart from the fact that MP12 is seemingly an actual LP500 so if they are using the 80's countach they must have coughed up......but yeah, the irony in other instances is hilarious  

 

What is the wonder fest stuff I haven't seen anything yet or may have missed it!

I hope you're joking, but if not, what are these other instances of Hasbro stealing intellectual property? As they're a high profile USA based company, they can hardly expect to get away with the stuff that small Chinese companies like Igear do.

Personally I'm rather tired of 3rd party companies stealing Hasbro IP like there's no tomorrow. It was one thing when you had a few bootlegged Alts/BTs and the odd add on like City Commander, but when you've got multiple bootlegs of the MP Starscream mould, third party toys of 2 Devestators/Ironhide/Ratchet/the Insecticons/MP Soundwave to name just a few, and all the G1 or Classics KOs, it's getting ridiculous.

And all the self-justification isn't much better. People could at least be honest and admit it's blatant stealing, rather than say Hasbro isn't giving them what they want (just look at the whole Classics line), that they'd buy the sought after or high priced stuff if it was in TRU (because Joe Public couldn't get enough of those G1 Stepper or would go mad for a $600 3rd party Devastator, right?).

It's about time we heard more from Takara about mp12. I just hope it's as awesome in reality as it is in my head. I only really collect MP's so any new mould brings me to the point of nerdgasm.
Oh, non tf related, The Works has 90's X-men DVDs, on 3 for £5. Got seasons 1 & 2 to assess the quality before I raid the remainders.

Just checked the first page of the thread in the news forum with the photo of the slide on it and I can't see anything that says LP500 on it. I know the art in the photo looks like it, but they can pretty much draw anything at this stage. Believe me, if it does turn out to be a Countach I will go nuts.
