Thanks. I always get overly panicked when ordering from overseas.

Someone seems to be saying that The Entertainer has wave 2 Botshots.. which would be Mirage, Clear Bumblebee, Ratchet and Tan Coloured Brawl...

I'm curious if it's just wave 2 People have spotted or if it's wave 3 as well Jetfire, Lockdown, Single Carded Tank Megatron, Topspin & Thundercracker.

Anybody spotted them yet - and if they have is it just in The Entertainer ?

Someone in the Over-Run thread spoke to them today and was told that they're currently working though invoices starting 63XXX, where the X's are 3 other numbers.

I sure am, got something daft like fifteen things to post! Played the role of a bare faced bastard on the 'bay too, but as a wise man once said, I've got five kids to feed.

I'd be up for that. No later than May I would suggest, keep it as far away from the Olympics as possible....!!

He probably looks the part next to deluxe Starscream.

Tesco are clearencing most of their DOTM stock, saw fireburst prime and shockwave and sentinel for £9, I don't understand though why the deluxes were actually being clearanced for more than they were.

That is stunning! Hope he does Silverbolt...

I too am hoping for BW megs to get into the HoF, Goldlock. Gotta say though, I'm a little shocked at the amount of comments from people who believe that BW megs is just another Megs from another continuity. Someone needs to school these naive nippers!

    That he does.

Where as my Tesco's are stubbornly holding at £18 a voyager. Still don't think I'd buy prime or shockwave for that, though!

Mine doesn't even have a single Voyager. They restocked on the Deluxes, including the exclusives, and have some DotM Legions and an Ark, but zero Prime or anything else vaguely interesting.

In Shepton Tesco's defence, they did get in Thundercats classics (and I have everything crossed they'll get Turtles Classics in, too!), and they briefly had a tag out for the Prime Cyberverse Playsets (before Hasbro had a hissy), but for the most part they're pretty slow on the TF uptake.

I would have thought Hasbro getting pissy with their customers and denying them stock would be the absolute last thing they would want to do with their 'new' version of one of their mainstay lines...

I will fully admit to knowing almost zero about business practice, but I would love it if someone, somewhere could explain how this was a good idea? To cut off all supply of a brand new line to all stores, because one chain broke the street date, meaning that the store that broke the date are the only store carrying the line.  It just smells of Hasbro UK throwing teddy out of the pram.

I'd be more inclined to think the real reason is that Hasbro (U.S) exercised an option over units Hasbro U.K. were under the impression they would be getting, and that perhaps they (Hasbro U.S) did this after the backlash over the cancellation of F.E.

Somewhere along the distribution chain then, between Hasbro and us, the idea that this was the result of Hasbro UK 'punishing' Argos, by making all retailers wait, came about.

SOMEONE in Hasbro UK very deliberately decided to send Argos the stock well in advance of what was claimed to be the release date.

Hasbro UK can't blame anyone but themsleves if they really did send them stock too soon.

Perhaps they got grief from Hasbro INC and are trying to pass the buck?

I'm just assuming that retailers were stung with over-orders of DOTM (as they seem to be with every other TF line), and Hasbro UK have just put the hiatus on supply until all of TFP Wave 1 has shifted, just so they can claim a better sell-through ratio.

I guess (emphasise: guess) the UK market is a lot smaller and less vociferous than the US, so it's always a gamble for retailers and wholesaler alike.

Does anybody know what the TV scheduling is for TFP over here? (I watch it on YouTube so have no clue.) Maybe Waves 2 & 3 are being held back until the new series starts.

Yes, London meet up. If we go for last weekend in April or first weekend in May, does that sound good? simond, is that enough advance notice to get you out on a Saturday? If not, I'll make sure we have a weekday catch-up soon, too.

I cant imagine Hasbro UK getting pissy at the likes of tesco, asda and sainsburys. Transformers will account for such a tiny fraction of those companies sales, that they just wouldnt stand for it or probably wouldnt care.

Its not like transformers is a craze anymore, where the toys will fly off the shelves.

Coversely, I imagine supermarkets are quite a big slice of tfs sales just for the fact they have so many parents and kids passing through them.

I cant see it being Hasbro "punishing" the supermarkets/other retailers - as that would ultimately harm hasbro's business, and the other retailers probably wouldnt care as transformers is such a tiny fraction of thier business (TRU and toy shops notwithstanding)

Quite possibly. I don't think that there is much doubt that retailers would be hesitant to order large numbers of any Transformers after the slow sales of the DotM stuff. But, I can't see it being in the interest of Hasbro UK, or UK retailers, for the situation as it played out. I guess that the most likely explanation/guess is that there was a pause in stock allocation/delivery somewhere in the chain.

As far as I can tell, the plan is to cycle through each half of season one indefinately, while not actually broadcasting a single clue as to what episode is being shown today, thereby guaranteeing that people will just give up wih the series instead of watching the first three episodes 14 times in the hope that this time it will be different.

At the same time, Hasbro will hunt down any and all YouTube broadcasts of the show to doubly make sure that no-one can see it outside the US at all.

Honestly, after the farce that was the end of season one I almost gave up on it entirely, and even now it is difficult to find a single location to actually watch this stuff. And, I can be totally sure that without watching the cartoon, my interest in the figures drops a lot lower.

Is anyone interested in a PM group? Basically, if you PM me, I will add you to a list. When you find a source to download or watch the latest episode online, let me know and I will send out a PM to the group right away.

Sounds interesting. I could be interested in this, although it may be a busy time for me.
