Maz, I think I have 4 different types of Autobot symbol you can take a gander at mate.
And perhaps I can take a look at that Valkyrie that has continually plagued my every thought since you mentioned it!!

Talking of missing Autobot symbols...........Rodimus looks like he could do with one there no?

Uuh, firstly Maz is not selling the DotM Ark set, that's the Wheeljack Sky/Space/Ban Hammer spaceship. And it's less of a playset and more of a Cyberverse vehicle. If you have any Cyberverse Commanders with the clear plastic chests the light up feature on the Ban Hammer works quite well with them.

As to playsets? Hmm. Unfortunately there isn't anything I would call definitive. Not like a Hot Wheels garage playset. Generations Metroplex is nice and big, but even in city mode it's still relatively limiting in what you can do with Legions. You can litter them around his form, but they don't 'do' anything, like ramps or jail cells, or dropping through trapdoors. Basically get a vintage G1 Metroplex and he does practically the same thing as a Gen Plex or Fort Max.



The DotM Ark is probably the best playset we've had to date, but even that one is lacking, especially when you look at Hotwheels sets which usually have an awesome play feature, plus they're all linkable etc etc. Honestly in the past I've linked up a Hot Wheels playset track thing to Gen Metroplex for racing fun, shits and giggles.





As to Legends Rodimus? Yeah, weak lazy repaint. If Hasbro were going to remould the head the least they could do is add a tab on his axe for back mounting and arm exhausts/lasers. Changing his chest from a window to bonnet flames might have resulted in a weird looking car. As to faction symbols...



I don't have any white backed symbols though, silver backed or clear outline ones only I'm afraid, sorry Maz.

Lastly, I picked up Generations Legends Gears yesterday. Then up into the display he went and I realised, I now have Classics/Generations repesentations of every S1 ark crew member! Voyager for Prime, Deluxes for the majority of Cars, the new Legends for most of the minibots. The only guy who is smaller is the old Legion/Legends Brawn!

Anyway, the full crew roster kinda snuck up on me there, now I want a Legends scale Brawn to finish it off properly!

 

I think that Legends Rodimus is a rubbish Hot Rod.

However it does make for a pretty neat Hot Shot in his powerlinx colours. I'll see him as that.

Talking of playsets, I quite like star convoy. He doesn't have that much, but what he has got is fun! Let's see the duel Micromaster launched, the conveyer belt, the spinning gun turret and the lift. Only draw backs are optimus primes head has nowhere to go in base mode, the robot modes a brick, and the lorry mode is... Um not the greatest shall we say. But if you love Micromasters I do recommend it.

 

Blackjack is based off an old Micromaster, so I guess Legends Blackjack is OK.



As to Hot Black Rod? No idea, he's a comically bad repaint choice as far as I'm concerned. They should have coloured him grey and called him Swindler, sure only a few of us would get the reference but it would have been great.

Think that latest test shot for Maketoys' Hound has finally made me opt for the Fanstoys version. Not that it's bad. Just that bit too chunky for my liking.

Jeeez, Microsoft account management totally sucks balls.

So I have a credit card that got cancelled a while back, but MS take their yearly Outlook payment from it. OK so far, so I input a new card for them to take the money from, except they won't, they keep trying to take it from the old card. I try to delete the old card (so logically they'd use the new card) but they won't delete it because payment is pending OMFG WTH.

So now I want to resolve this by emailing them. I can't email back to their notification, it's an unmonitored email. OK, but going throuhgh their site to try and find a contact page? Nope, it keeps looping me back to the same fucking account management page that I've already updated my account details! No email!

Right now I'm waiting to be put through to 'online chat' with some tech guy at the MS help desk. Unbelieveable.

Ha. Try contacting Skype! I had my account hacked a while ago, and they tried to add funds using some prepaid South African card... Not sure why...

The only way to get anywhere with Skype - and try to find an official emil contact on the web site - is to raise your problem on the Skype forums.... With the regular expert user who dont have access to your account or anything useful.

Of course, I am sure that things will get better now, after all, Skype is owned by..... ohh...

 

I had the same issue with my Xbox live subscription a month back, I even tried switching it to my paypal account to no avail. I ended up giving them a call and the bloke on the other end sorted it pretty quickly.
