They're just the lastest craze - a lot of people with 3d printers are making a nice bit of money out of it because once you buy a bulk load of the bearings the plastic is just a few pence worth... Expensive ones are either people ripping you off or they have higher quality bearings that cost a bit more.

I don't get it either but my kids love them; as long as it keeps them happy and doesn't do anyone any harm, I guess I'm OK with them. One cost like £3 and started to fall apart the moment it was dropped, the other was nearer a fiver and as far as I am aware, I think this one is still in one piece...

The first I knew about them was seeing memes on F/B calling people morons for buying them. I've no idea why they're so popular but also don't see the need to criticise people buying them either.

Freaking TakaraTomy... I take some time off the hobby, stop taking photos of robots, box everything up and sell a bunch of stuff and then... they... reveal... MP Sunstreaker. Did I dream it or something?

Anyway... Looks pretty good. Not perfect but better than other attempts at the character.

Still out of the hobby in general though. I need all my spare time to focus on my new company and the with I am doing :(

No way am I missing out on a new Masterpiece though :)

No problem, I quite enjoy the pictures you do.

Seeing that had got me thinking about a random picture I did back in 2014 with TFP Shockwave at my old home.

They are practically the definition of a fad. They will be gone by September, when schools come back after summer.

Hey, who wants to play pogs!?

Does anyone here have any interest in the 2000ad comic. I have about 2-300 issues dating from around 1985 - 1990 & I want them gone. PM if you're after any specific issues & I'll see what I have.
