Well man, thank you, that's... Very interesting.
When I wrote "Currently considering options" as location it was, in fact, more than half serious. For the first time -ever- I'm thinking about trying something else. Seeing something else.
Breath a little. It's curious -almost tragic in a way- when you think about how much I read about the world since i'm a kid, how much I dreamt about the great sailors, about discovery and everything... While in fact, the only place I really know is my own little corner. Not a pretty one, on top of that.
And Iceland ? I mean, just the name. A land of ice. A white island at the end of the world. And the oldest parliament. And they want to ban hawaiian pizza ? Where do i sign ?
Sure, that'd kill my ma', but hey, I've got pratice with that.
Only thing would be, well, to find work. But appart from that, I'm inclined to say what the hell, let's make a move.

Sorry about miss banjoted's pain though, all my best wishes for her health.

It's a cliche, but travel is definitely good for the soul. Aside from the various places in the UK I've lived, I've also lived in Sri Lanka (6 months - glorious weather, beautiful country, humbling poverty), Denmark (1 year - lovely people, good beer, astoundingly clean an efficient public transport) and America (beautiful scenery, awesome food, genuinely warm and welcoming people but the culture is a mixed bag) and every one of those experiences is cherished - especially now I'm a parent and married, and upping sticks and fucking off to the other side of the world isn't really an option. Not that I resent parenthood one bit (THE best thing in the entire world), but if you're in a position where you still can do such things, I'd absolutely encourage. Home will still be waiting for you at the end of it.

Rack n Ruin's on the money, it is a bugger to get in the UK as we stick some additives/oils in (for Health & Safety reasons I believe) but the best I found to hand is Boots own-brand Surgical Spirit B. P. but you might be able to source better.

I presume you really know it's this John Higgins. ;)

Lookin' AWESOME! Just not £150 squids awesome for me.

Speaking of lookin' good, I think I've figured out what was still bugging me about CW Ironhide - it was black - ALL BLACK!!!
    [IMG] [IMG]
Specifically his upper arms and midriff. The move from two-tone to three-tone does a few of the CW figures the power of good!

Quite the travels, that is nice !
    And a welcomed encouragement, thanks.

Also yes, absolutely, I've never been around much but I did spent 3 weeks in California 20 years ago and... What stroke me the most and will remember on top of everything (with the stunning scenery, amazing even) is how friendly and welcoming people were. That took me by surprise ! The hugs ! Somebody introduces me to someone and immedialty "You should come to my place ! How long do you stay ? If you want to go here, there, let me know ok ?" or "Hey I don't know you but i've got tickets for the ball game so if you wanna come..."
I mean, I saw a giant tattoed beardie biker cries the day I left.
I can tell you, that's not something you'd get here.
Paris, the most visited city in the world ! And we won't make it easy for you.

    Kinda like those guys.

Finally completed the G1 Seeker trio in CHUG form. Now I just need Ramjet to complete the Coneheads. How much do you reckon I paid for Skywarp?

    Eh. (12 + 8) / 2 = 10. FLAWLESS VICTORY!!! ;)

Yeah, I don't think there is quite a demand for Classics Skywarp as there was nearly ten years ago. The decent KOs (one of which I have) took the sting out of the market, imo.
