Lol i think you and me are on the same pag here automorph but i guess its diffrent strokes for diffrent folks

Personally although i tend to spend quite a bit on 3rd party stuff i too only really collect generations i just think it works out better financially to be ahead of myself and buy the whole wave for £60 with free shipping avoiding stupid prices like £20-£30 for one figure later but i guess that only applies when like me you want all the characters in the wave and not just a couple

I mean £60 is a lot and there's no way i would spend that on figures in one go but if you look at it as one a week for 4 weeks its definateley not bad at all its exactly the same as buying them one at a time except you make sure you have them all allready

Which is exactly how the sightings thread should be, I read about RTS wave 2 straight away, and then come here to read the rest of the crap ;)

Honestly, I used to buy a crapload of stuff online, and it does get out of control very quickly. During CR/RID/ARM I bought, pretty much everything I could get my hands on.

Energon I limited to shops only, and so on. But yeah, online is being reserved for big purchases only now, the last thing I bought was MP9, then Protector trailer, then HT Black Widow. Right now I'm waiting for Generations wv3 which is... 'processing'.

Heehee. Can't wait for Scourge. Or Kup. Or Thunhercracker. Maybe Wheeljack.

When I finally get my arse to Kapow I'll be demanding the special tea treatment. Kept meaning to take the drive up there but the car is unreliable (as evidenced by it failing the MOT today) but I've got a family friend with his nice car visiting me in a couple of weeks and wanting to go to Norwich so I may just poke him with a stick to go find Kapow too. I really would like to make the next Nerd Day.

But yeah, if there's something I want which would've meant buying online I tend to go find it in person at Toyz and Gamez when I nip into Norwich to collect my comics once a month. I first got the internet at the same time TnG opened so me finding out about all these figures online I would've missed in normal stores I was able to get in person there.
I think if the time gap between me getting internet and TnG opening had been wider I'd have probably taken deeper steps into online TF buying. Of course, once you start and have that entire online shopping world at your fingertips I can see it ending up costing far more as you probably end up buying more.

If that's so, then how come there was no mention of Generations at all at Toy Fair? I guess there are the PRIME toys that originally were going to come under Generations but are now coming under their own line? Am I right?

If they want to continue with the Generations line, why have they canceled Arcee?

The only thing that puts me off perceptor is the yellow see through panel. Uniteds clear version is much nicer.

Maybe reprolabels will release a set with a last stand of the wreckers style white sticker with autobot logo in the center to cover it.
Although that might not actually suit the toy. Hmm.

not cancelled, moved into Prime. the same with the Prime and the Starscream.

I think we would have seen generations toys at toyfair if it was continuing. Warpath will likely be the last new toy we see from that line.

If anyone wants Scourge and Kup from one of Kapow's case with Thundercracker and Wheeljack, I'll go halves with.

Ah, so that computer listing was the Prime Arcee. I'm really looking forward to that figure, but if Hasbro want to continue the Generations line, then their going to have to give us characters we all want.

Generations IS continuing it was stated at toyfair. ill just try and find the info now

Also its likeley if we are gonna see new toys they will be at botcon toyfair is largeley aimed at retailers and they dont care for generations as much as other lines especially new lines such as kreo and the new kids aimed stuff that they are going to have to decide if they want to stock and where they want to stock it. I mean all the stuf show at toyfair constitutd part of a new line altogether rather than new things in a continuiation.

I have just picked up RTS Prime from TRU, I was tempted to buy him online this week and even got as far as being one click from ordering but I backed out as I wanted to get it from retail. He's not a bad figure overall. I also picked up another Wreck Gar as the pics of him riding himself look awesome and it does no harm to have one as a junkion warrior.

I only noticed as I had a quick look on the sightings after work and called ahead to see if they had stock.

Hopefully next up in generations will be the likes of hoist, trailbreaker, blitzwing, shockwave gears, huffer and a deluxe brawn.
Also an actual ultra magnus, rather than just a white prime!

Some re-releases of the pain in the arse to find classics figures like ramjet aswell :)

I hope hasbro uk returns to offering them at some point.

OMG LESS SIGHTINGS IN HERE PLX ;)

Thanks for setting this up Al, much appreciated.

I'm another who pretty much buys exclusively online. I did get a BiS set from Argos but that was pretty much a one off (also wish I'd waited, as only wanted the damn Cyclonus and the matrix :lol )

Here here for that lot although im betting most of what we are getting is repaints with the new head molds shown in instructions
