Adjusting for inflation, they are cheaper now then when they came out. Do it. Do it now.

I had heard of Kapow toys before but only just seen Masterforce.co.uk today, they are too expensive on Kapow.

I only started casually collecting a couple of months ago & only in the past 2-3 weeks gone full throttle into it.

The main big guys for labels are Reproduction TF symbols and replacement toy symbols - Reprolabels.com. Best quality, great service but slow to arrive.
The other one is Transformers Kingdom - Your Super Store for Transformers! Good for faction symbols, quite cheap and can arrive within a week.
It's better and cheaper to use the websites rather than eBay.

    Welcome aboard :)
If you're not going to wait for Uk releases you have to take into consideration that the online prices are usually imported versions in USA packaging.
A generation deluxe will cost you £17 and a voyager £30, plus postage on average. The good thing is you will get them months before the UK if at all! It does save a lot of waiting, hoping and searching.

Kapow are probably the number 1 UK site for robots and have amazing shipping speed and service.

Masterforce is newer and run by Genetic who is very active here. Currently has some great sales prices. Both places are recommended. :)

    Plus there are lots of UK guys selling our own items on tfw. It takes a while to get into the collecting know how but start with them and you are better off than I was some years ago;

TRUs reward coupons arrived today - they smell and look nice. All valid till the 11th May and two coupons I can use to get a fiver off Transformers from a £30 spend.

I'm hoping TRU start stocking some of new Generations figures early next financial year because it's pretty bleak pickings right now. If the likes of Springer, Rhinox and Waspinator don't make it this next couple of months I'm pessimistic we'll see them at all at UK retail amongst the impending TF4 merch blitz.

I'm in the same situation as you...had decided on the toy Scoria but now...no idea.

Plus for FT Scoria = great robot mode + size
minus = No transparent head + shit dino mode

If you don't mind the Takara version of Blitzwing you can have mine for £10 including shipping. Loose but complete.
Transformed to tank, jet then robot once.

I think the item has to be sold by Amazon themselves and not another store selling through Amazon. I've had that problem a couple of times but never when I bought something from Amazon itself.

    Welcome aboard.

    Congrats Grandad Prime.

Holy hell! What was tf Kingdom's stickers like?

They have a Scorponok set for $4.99. That's a hell of a lot cheaper than Reprolabels.

Hmmm, I'll keep an eye out for the Unitron one - didn't know about that, it was after my time! I started with Futron, got most of Blacktron 2, half of M-Tron and one vehicle from Ice Planet before it was time to grow up. I really wish I still had my Alpha Centauri Blacktron 2 base back, I chuffing loved that.

Not envious at all at the prospect of a full space city. Not. At. All.

10 Hadokens for a Takara Blitzwing is a splendiferous bargain. Take it, new guy.
    And hello.

Can't remember if I congratulated Optimushed, I swear I'm not on the ale so congratulations, sir.

Love the sun, me. And Mebsuta loves it too. I've decided I am enjoying this piece now. Flaws and all it's got some serious looks to it.

I think they are fine. They have been making new versions lately on better paper I think. Sometimes though you will find the lines out. Reprolabels can replace those free of charge, why they cost more. They seem more scanned G1 types and Reprolabels are recreated. Worth giving them a go if the prices are a lot different.

The Motor Squad Military Multiplexer is coming for you! :p

Yeah that Ultra Magnus looks cool. Shame I splurged on the Takara version when I was having a shit day a while ago. Hrmm.

On another note I popped into Tesco just now and came away with a upscaled Cyberverse Voyager Prime. Once I get it out the box I'm gonna see if the green bits are easily removable and suitable for painting...

So with one hand you sold my Blitzwing and the other you make me spend money?

I had passed on this Magnus upgrade because every picture I've seen of him looked crap. How the fuck do you make it look so good.

    Now I'm tempted damn you!!!

Yeah, thats pretty much it. The more I think about it, the more I am leaning towards dropping FT totally and going with Gigapower.... which is crazy talk, but there you are.

Also, hypothetically, if you had a pretty comprehensive Alternators collection but then had to move somewhere, like.... oh, I dont know, somewhere like Singapore.... and didnt take any with you..... If you were in that situation..... Obviously, its not me.... Its a friend.... And if I.... he.... wanted to pick up the absolute minimum stars of the line, what should be on that list?

I.... he.... has the following list so far:
Alts - Decepticharge, Dead End, Mirage
    BTs - Hound, Shockwave, Tracks

The only shock in that list should be the lack of a Subaru.

Is anywhere in the UK selling that Pandora's Box Ultra Magnus armour? I can only find it for sale in the US, or Asia.

I've ordered from Amazon.com a few times and about 50% of the time I get the import duty refunded if it wasn't hit by customs. It usually happens 2 months or so after the order.
