just dropping in with a random post.

why oh why am i watching peal harbour, and......
    and.....
    and...
    enjoying it,
gone soft in my old age:)

anywho, i might sell my takara mp cracker and skywarp seperatly if anyone is interested, 90 each all in,
think ile list my animated stuff and my micro changers on ebay as their bound to sell on there,

and now.... back to the harbour.

edit --- my amazon.com orders just bounced, Im thinking its because i paid with my debit card in pounds instead of converting to dollars,
has anyone else had this happen?
its given me the chance to re-send payment either by original method or by using a different card, but i can't see how to change the currency,

I don't think it matters that it's in £s as you have the option to pay in GBP. Maybe the product is out of stock for international shipping?

I'd blame it looking difficult on my drunkenness... in reality it's a breeze.

Also, noticed generations blaster has gone back up in price on Amazon. Yesterday's random purchase justified itself! Now hoping a cheap metroplex crops up.

I really want a metroplex. Don't even think he looms amazing, I just want massive robits.

    Genuinely made me LOL!

Centre of London mate, no one looks at anyone else in case you get a knife in the ribs ;)  Seriously though, people were indifferent apart from the guy on the next table who looked like he wanted to join in and the ultra hot barmaid who seemed bemused and amused by it all. Next time I'll take Spawn toys and ask her if she wants to check out my 12" Violator.

    Faith Leader YEEEEEAAHHHHH! Proper scale!

Unfortunately TRU are totally out of them so no luck finding them in store either, sorry dude.

I have a few on the site (I think) and have (drumroll please) series 2 combiners on the way.

Yeah definitley easy to get carried away with everything on offer but I think you're right with the slow and steady mentality for sure.

Think I'm gonna go with Bovis for xmas!

Already have a few MP's to enjoy at the moment plus prowl and starscream for christmas time so think I'll try something a little different.

Really like the reviews on the guy, looks nice and chunky good plastic.

Got most of my xmas shopping nearly done today and still doing pretty good bank wise so far.

If things run smoothly till next payday I can always get Lambor for myself if the urge becomes too much :D

Yes but they aren't always perfect. Hard to see some and sometimes the pics are wrong. I tend to save the images from the site as I do them.
You can ask people on the Facebook group for help and normally a designer will point you in the right direction. If you need any help with any feel free to PM me :)

Bovis is ace, and a great choice. At first I was not keen, going from the pictures but after the mass enabling that this thread is famous for - I broke and ordered him.

In hand it is an amazing figure, and can't recommend it enough.

    Welcome to the boards :)

Once Smokescreen is available to order, that is the only TF I am going to order for the rest of this month.

Got Fortis, Generations Blaster and Thundercracker, the Generations Trailbreaker/Hoist upgrade set, a KO FP Aerialbots add on kit all on the way with Leo Dux already ordered.

Smokescreen will be the last of my spending, before my wallet has a nervous breakdown.

As an aside, has anyone here done any of the Cisco networking certifications? I am considering doing one, and using it to boost my career prospects (note- give myself career prospects) and just wondering if anyone had done it?

Yup, Bovis is a great choice! He's not in the least bit compromised by the fact he turns into a shin (but as shins go, it's a beauty!), good heft and lots of poseability. The only problem is that not much else will compare in terms of chunk!

Also, I've burnt through my three volumes of MTMTE. Great stuff. Guess I'd better chase up the next volumes (and LSOTW)....

So rare to find fiction so good that you just tear through it like that.

I wish I could experience it for the first time again :)

Quick Q on Repros of a non-label kind, are there any retailers, aside from Wheeljack's Lab, that do replacement/repro G1 weapons at a less than wallet-herniating rate or is Shapeways dominating that aspect now (I'm not too keen on the finish of Shapeways weapons, I haven't seen one yet that has the clean, smooth finish of good ol' injection moulded plastic)?

Customs question for anyone in the know/with experience. Thinking of getting iGear's new Defense Specialist directly from them but the boxes they're sending them make it clear that they're goods and not gifts. It's £50. So does anyone know how much, even roughly, customs will ask for? Ta.

Well thanks to flogging a few toys and some bargain hunting flags on this thread I've had a pre Christmas splurge on Acidstorm and Generations Blaster ... so they'll be put under the tree along with the MP Bluestreak I've had bought for me.

Should break up the monotony of socks, toiletries and booze over Christmas.

A long time since I've been stung but I think it's 20% VAT and £8 admin so you're looking at £18 if you get stung. You might want to look at the cost from domestic sellers.
