I think it was more than the TVs they sent to the 500th - My dad was after a Dyson as well (in store today supposedly) and there were none - this is at 8.01 am... ridiculous.

I would have got excited for the generations stuff but just shifted nearly all my CHUG stuff to fund MP's... would have to be exceptional to make me bite on any of them.

As for the Hermes thing, my local one is a complete gem, shes a lovely lady, and I've (touch wood) never had a problem with them yet.

I suppose its horses for courses - can't recollect who, but I think there's a few on here who have some awful posties? I'm lucky that I know mine and he's trustworthy.

Lots of negative posts on here about MyHermes, I recently used them for my Bovis shipment and all the parcels arrived without incident, albeit with many a package signed for by the deliverer and left at the houses (which isn't why I pay the extra £1 for a signature). I'm hoping the new prices at Royal mail are more sensible, as I'd like to avoid using Hermes again for Fortis before something does go wrong.

Use collect plus. I've been using them for some time and have had no issues.

Quite excited to see what some of them new releases will be. Gen leader megs sounds interesting and Rattrap is a must to go with the other new BW chaps.

On the point of parcels arriving in front of the mrs... Yeh everything that comes through the door is always far far cheaper than reality wink wink

The things we do to our other halves.........mine gives me tbe exsasperated silence everytime another box comes to the door but that's preferable to the full blown more-money-wasted-hairdryer I used to get so she's mellowing a bit with time.

I love the sound of the Generations list of names but if it does turn into the nightmare of a load of Movie-shite sailing under a false flag it's going to be gutting.......Brainy and Roadbuster AND Arcee are all musts and it would be beyond cruel if they weren't "classics".

    Fingers crossed.

    cool, he must be made,
but where does the blue helmet come from,
and Im guessing the claws used for whirl feet are sharticons,

i didnt realise prices had changed again, slight tweaking perhaps,
but i did send a package yesterday thinking it was going to cost 7binbags, and being pleasantly surprised it was only 4,
because i had already resigned myself to it costing 7, i decided to send it special, which strangly cost 7binbags.

My pleasure. Yeah for anyone looking to keep their flat 2D artwork safe i recommend, it's pretty simple, get some acid free framing corners bought from many a shop, stick them to an acid free mounting board to hold your artwork and then slip it in an acid free plastic wallet thingy. Just take care not to allow the sticky glue of the plastic wallet to stick to your artwork accidentlly, i usually put the board+artwork in so the sticky fold folds on to the front, so there's no chance of it going near the artwork surface when you put it in or take it out. From the website i linked to you can get the mount and wallet to match, custom sizes too, and a couple of years back they had the best prices.

But yeah, your artwork will be safe. It's good because you know it's not getting squashed and it's easy to handle and display. And it's well archival as well. Perfect for us collectors.

I bought on the Super Go-Bots off eBay (Baron Von Joy if anyone is interested). I haven't held one these figures since I was about 8 years old. So I was thrown for second by how small he is. It's a sweet little toy & I was really enjoying it right up to the moment he snapped in two. Luckily he still holds together quite we'll in both modes.

Got my toyworld Orion in the post today from kapow, thanks Andy.
All I can say is he is magnificent and totally worth it every penny I paid for him.
I'll give one word of caution to anyone that has him or is getting him, his blue chest windows can easily pop off, both mine were loose in the box when I opened it but they clip back on very easily. His windvane is the most annoying thing I ever came across on a trasnformer, its always in the way while you're transforming him.
He's definitiely worth getting and IMO he is the definitive classics scale Optimus Prime.
Cant wait to see the bomber Megs and Magnus toyworld have planned now.

I'll just add I use Hermes all the time and have never had a problem with them, and I find the tracking comforting, rather than Royal Mail's 'what you don't wanna pay an extra tenner? It'll get there when it gets there.'

Couriers are only as good as their local deliverer, if there's a problem with them report it, they won't be delivering any more.

I will be interested to see if it's true about a possible Hasbro MP Lambor (Sideswipe) or not.

    ------

I was in PC world today and noticed they have a Seagate 3TB external Hard Disc drive for £99.99 and the ones I usually buy the Westerndigital Elements 3 TB for £99.99

I was wondering is seagate a good brand - I know a lot of desktop PC's use their drives - do they have a good rep for desktop drives as the other offer they had was £130.00 for a 4TB HDD with USB3

Or would I be better off buying some sort of cluster and internal drive combo instead ? or even one of those cases that take several internal drives ( I looked into them but they cost crazy money last I looked).

Opinions - suggestions (polite ones) would be welcome.

I love that sergeant Pepper's cover, shame it's a bugger to track down, it's something that would look really good framed on a wall.

Maz, do you have the 'incentive' Alex Milne sketchbook that came out around Chaos Theory? I know you're aiming for the completist bit!
