He wants more for that then Blaster and Hot Rod combined! May have to bite the bullet and just flog Hot Rod on separately.

You should get enough for him to make it worth while.

What do you think I'm planning? ;)  Also him and WST Sixshot from the comics...

End of season of Primeval New World - Nuts what am I going to watch now..
Oh well at least Beast Hunters is on in a few short months.
Interestingly the DVD release in the UK includes episodes that are longer than the Canadian/American version and have extra scenes.

There is still a chance of a 6th Season of the UK show and a UK Primeval Movie as well it seems. It would be great if they could "group finance it" so the 6th season gets a higher budget to add sets and locations to visit the future properly and build up to the UK Movie. even if it remains relatively niche that little extra money would really help them round everything off nicely.

And hey it's Dinosaurs what's not to like.

I never made the effort to watch the new Primeval. Is it a good 'un?

It's not so much about improving, it's more about speed! Using a mouse or regular table is so at odds with hand eye co-ordination and makes things horribly slow - of which the progress with An American Way of Death provides testament!

It's a slow burner but if you watched all 13 over a few days you'd likely get some enjoyment out of it - especially if you like the UK show or Stargate Atlantis.

It is a slight shame that the best dinos are in the beginning and the end of the series but it's still a good show and if it gets another season and brings more threads in from the UK show it should be one worth watching. even if it is just a single season it's still a 'bit of fun'. I love that Albertasaurus too.

    --------

I'm finding it very difficult to not buy that bonkers Giant DOTM Megatron KO - it's just daft as a brush but sort of brilliant even if he is taller than Omega-Genesis.

I'm actually kinda down with the hand to eye thing with a tablet now, although its still not the speediest procedure. I love drawing in vectors, although i want to get into using my lineart more through the multiply tool. Got a comic cover style pic i want to sharpen up and that is totally the way to go!

On that point does anyone have templates for the layout of and old marvel style transformers cover? It would be much easier to use one of those than build one from scratch!

I watched thecollector75's video of that jumbo Megs and can't quite see a logical reason not to buy it. Especially because his head can make a sound like a phone ringing. That's fucking genius.

Its just dawned on me what a massive continuity error that is in G1 season 3 - Optimus gets wiped out on that ship, yet in the return his lifeless body is recovered absolutely blemish free = whassup wit that!!

Though no complaints - any excuse to get him back :)

It's G1, innit. The catch all phrase for every continuity error ever.

When I draw I like to turn and twist the page at all kinds of funny angles, something not too easy with a tablet. A touchscreen would be a lot more tactile.

Illustrator is certainly the way to go if you want crisp, vector line art. Scan a sketch and draw over the top of it, though it can be time consuming.

Anybody interested in some movieverse stuff? They'll be going up on ebay otherwise.
I have a sealed leader starscream and a load of other stuff too. I'll PM anyone a list if they're interested.

    Ebay:
No probs buddy, just PM me if you decide to. I'll send the spare set of sliders along either way- I'm sure one of you can make good of use of them!

He most certainly is bud, I'll PM you shortly when I've got my evening rota sorted. Getting in at 7pm is crap, especially when you've gotta catch up on this thread (amongst others) before you can get to the ebay/sales stuff!
Worth it though, conversation in here is golden.

I was actually gonna PM you to see what you thought of this! Think we might have a winner- no need for PR, proper SB/Supes colours, also looks a surprising amount like the original toy. Loving it.

Very nice, obligatory pix! Did you manage to dodge customs? I bet you didn't know which to open first :D  I think I would've shut down and just drooled for a bit lol

:lol  you'll have em back before the year is out I bet. Maybe you can catch the lot for a good price though? Not to mention have your pick of upgrades etc. But you're a very bad man for selling Phantom and Eagle, they're too good to go :p  j/k I know, holiday. Totally worth it.

That's epic bud! I'm not particularly brushed up on my G2 (used to see all the graphic novels in my local bookstore all the time, but only ever picked up Legacy of Unicron. Kind've regret that now), but I know that scene all too well! Optimus Prime's last attempt to stop the swarm, thus them finding sentience and conscience through the matrix, resulting in the creation of the Vok (with a bit of retconning of course). I always liked that explanation, though it gives me hell trying to squeeze G2 into the original continuity (not knowing much about it at all).
    Do more!

How much are you looking for? I'm no WST collector, but I like Hot Rod's original toy and WSTs are wonderful oddities.

I know this all too well. For my GCSE art course (laugh I dare you!) I produced some CD covers but, sucking at computerised drawing (and it being before tablets/sketch tools) I drew everything by hand, inked over it, scanned it in and then proceeded to clean it up in....MS Paint :p  Took me the best part of twelve hours, but golly was the exam board impressed. So impressed that the school stole not only that, but all of my art books and works. "Lost" apparently, yeah right. Apparently some of my work hangs in the art block now, should really go and get it back.

That Springer is epic. If that were a reasonable price I'd totally get one. I love little things like that, the WST UM is awesome too!

Better excuse than trying to prove it with logic and science :p

Also, you all know Megatron's a big Journey fan *ducks*

    Ebay:
When i was into the wst line, 2 years ago or so, there were a few listings for wst springer and goldbug,
Springer was selling for around 90 but i think the seller had help bumping the price,
And gold bug was going for around 25
Only thing you can really do is check on ebay, there turn up eventually bud,

Trust me, I have a lot of searches on there still but they don't seem to turn up much, or at least not when I have the cash spare :)

I really like UM, though Sixshot is really nice too.

I have Blaster and Twincast, they're both great even if they tower over Soundwave... Hot Rod is nice, very g1 accurate too.
