Redalert tipped you, Smokescreen might tip me,
But tracks would tip e-v-err-rr-y b-o-d-y

Blue prowl lights really make him, but the toon didn't go that route, maybe takara will cater for both styles seeing as the masterpiece line homages both toy and toon,

Grapple being in season one, what is this crap Im hearing,
Now we all know their was a green crane truck (that bore a slight resemblance to grapple alt mode) called hauller,
    That's it, a one off.
Did hasbro, takara, sunbow ever comment on this or Confirm??

My bro told me the other day that sid is in toy story 3 (the evil kid from the first movie)
I always thought the dustbin man was sid due to his skull t-shirt and my bro confirmed this in his pixar book.

So just wondering if itwas ever confirmed about green hauller,
Otherwise grapple can get the f out of season one.

Edit --- @MB did you get a response about mp Redalert being painted/casted white

RK don't slap on heavy charges, that's HMRC at customs. EMS is an automatic £13.50 charge on top of any VAT. Standard delivery is an automatic £8 charge on top of VAT.

Depending at what they mark the value of the parcel depends on what VAT they charge you so always ask them to mark it down. Chimungmung seems to always slip thru customs but he is generally a little more expensive for MP's.

Alot of us tend to order most items from Kapow tho as it works out roughly the same when you get skinned by customs but you have UK customer service.....plus the owner Andy posts here so any problems are sorted very quickly.

Negative. Tracks has no pull for me other than for completion sake.

    Say Wa?

It was pretty random tho....sometimes he had blue lights, others he didn't.

    Season 1 episode 1 I believe:

Mr Hauler. AKA RTS Grapple......the square lights and general front are a dead give away!

I can not sell G1 Abominus for £60 on the ebay. Has the bottom really fallen out of the G1 Combiner market, or am I trying to be greedy?

    Tigerblade,
I see that you still have your custom Shockwave as your avatar but along with what seems like everyone else you sound massively impressed with Quake Wave.
Do you still have the custom? If so I'd be really interested in a side-by-side pic comparison....

All the great feedback on Quakewave means I'm getting really close to placing an order but I have to say I'm not 100% convinced on the 'blocky' legs as opposed to the more curved gun handle legs of the G1 figure.

I'd also like to say thank you as a long time lurker to everyone that's posted positive comments about Chimungmung, today I received my MP Red Alert from them, managed to avoid customs and arrived in a week, have to say great service all round!

Welcome dude! I too am finding myself tempted, but theres so much other awesome coming up I have to prioritise.

MMC Predacons are a given, and I'm still hankering after some hot not-Blackarachniaction! Oh and prowl too... sigh...

Yep, this year is going to be expensive, I've got the MP cassettes pre-ordered, will be after Igear Gears (Cogz) and Beachcomber (Duneraker) and then once I pre-order Prowl it'd be rude not to get bluestreak and smokescreen surely??

I'm trying to resist the combiners, Blackbird has put me off not-Superion for now but I'm sure the custom add-ons that will inevitably turn up will tempt me back.

The MMC Predacons also look awesome but I need to see the full colour version first, oh and probably sell any spare organs I have and re-mortgage the house :rolleyes2

I was leaning towards the Unique Toys version, but after Toy Fare - I've pretty much wiped 3rd party toys off my list.

Generations Trailbreaker, Blitzwing, Springer and goddamn Metroplex, MP Soundwave and then Takara's MP Prowl, Bluestreak and Smokescreen.....yep no money left for 3rd party.

I did notice Sid mentioned in the credits at the end so always looked for something hidden in the background. The only 2 people I thought it could be was the dustbin man with the skull t-shirt on or the dustbin man who picks Lotso up at the end.

    Yup, hot off the press:

The custom has more of the G1 shape than Quakewave (wider chest, bigger curved legs) but I dunno, I just prefer the latter.

I'm flogging the custom if anyone is interested (comes with his mini me gun), not wanting silly money either:

If anyone is interested gimme a shout.

If I do order prowl, it'll likely be the only one I do get. I love my MP Lambor to pieces, but I do feel a slight pang of buyer's remorse for picking up Red Alert, simply because I feel I don't really need two versions of one very expensive figure! I'll likely sell him at some point.

Agreed. I was hankering after the 3rd party Stunticons but MP Smokescreen, Generations Springer and with the possibility of a Hasbro MP Soundwave, they have pointed my interest elsewhere.

Hasbro are going to get my spare cash this year!

That's the main reason I ended up picking up only MP Red Alert and I have no idea which of the next batch I'll end up getting, though I'm tending towards Smokescreen at the moment.

How likely is it that we will get a sunstreaker mp figure?

Someone did that, last year, with 'Transformers' as their specialist subject and all the questions were about Season 1 of the G1 cartoon.

My wife ended up getting more right than he did.

    No.

    It's completely different.

To the point that trying to retool the Sideswipe mold to get anywhere close to a G1 accurate robot mode and transformation would effectively be the same as starting from scratch.

So if Takara make him, he's almost certain to get his own mold as the Masterpiece line isn't subjected to the same half assed corner cutting that typifies the CHUG range.

It's totally different, I believe. I just hope they get on it while they have the Lambo license. There is an MP Tigertrack coming (a straight up yellow repaint of Lambor), so I'm hoping this reduces the likelihood of Tak being lazy with Sunstreaker.

Unless you mean Countach mode then the back end is different, I remember reading it's based on a concept/proto but I'd imagine the toy was like that to incorporate the arms.

As has been said the robot needs its own mould
